BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 3 2024: Teams, Format, Prize pool, and winners

Get ready for the biggest TPT of BGMI

India’s one of the biggest and most prestigious third-party tournaments (TPT), which is the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Masters Series Season 3 2024 is finally here. Nodwin Gaming and Star Sports have once again partnered together to bring back the excitement of thousands of BGMI fans.

Set to kick off on the 19th of July, this event will be the biggest third-party tournament of BGMI Esports as it features almost INR 2 crore (over USD 250K). A total of 24 teams from India will fight each other to lift the crown. Gladiator Esports were crowned champions in the previous season, the BGMI Masters Series 2023. Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series 2024 will be held as a LAN event.

BGMI Masters Series Season 3 2024: Schedule and format

Battlegrounds Master Series (BGMS) 2024 will kick off on the 19th of July, 2024 at 7 pm. The event will run till the 11th of August. Here is the full format explained below:

Opening Week

Opening week will continue from 19th to 21st July. 24 teams will compete in the opening week of BGMS. Out of 24 teams, 18 will qualify for the group stage. The bottom 6 teams are audience choices, from which 2 will be selected.

League Week

League Week will continue from 22nd July to 4th August. Out of the 20 teams (18+2), the top 4 teams will qualify for the finals directly. The remaining 16 teams will advance to the Playoffs.

Playoffs

Playoffs will continue from 6th to 7th August. The bottom 16 teams from League Week will compete, and the top 12 teams from those will qualify for the finals.

The Finals

From the 9th to the 11th of August, the grand final of BGMS 2024 will be played. The top 4 teams from League Week and the top 12 teams from Playoffs will battle it out for the ultimate glory.

Participating Teams

The event will feature 24 teams for its LAN finals. Among them, 20 teams are directly invited, and the rest will be chosen from the Qualifier. Before the grand finals, BGMI Masters Series 2024 will start its open qualifier phase to promote to the main stage. The teams are listed below:

Prize Pool

BGMI Masters Series 2024 will feature approximately INR 2 crore (more than $250,000) as the prize pool which is one of the highest prize money awarded in a third-party event. The previous edition of the event, 2023 BGMS, featured a total of INR 2.1 CR (almost $250,000). However, the share of this huge amount is not revealed yet. The MVP of the tournament will also receive a motorbike as a prize.

So, the BGMI esports scene in India is going to feel the craze of two big events soon. KRAFTON recently announced the third season of BMPS 2024 with great prizemoney as well. The tables are hot, and the rise of the Indian esports scene has already begun. As the war comes ahead, teams will be ready with all their might to throw at the opponents.

How to watch the BGMI Masters Series Season 3 2024

Following the previous success in television broadcasts, the exhilarating battle of BGMI Masters Series 2024 can be watched live on Star Sports Network in Hindi, English, and Tamil. International streaming platform YouTube will also showcase the event.

In the Battlegrounds Mobile Master Series 2024, Team iQOOSouL emerged as the champions, securing victory with an impressive 123 points, narrowly edging out Team Entity Gaming, who finished as runners-up with 121 points. Team Tamilas claimed third place.

AK OP from Team Orangutan was a standout performer, earning the titles of MVP and Wicked Player of the tournament for his exceptional skills and gameplay throughout the series.
