Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG) will feature Season 8. As the second split of 2024 esports professional leagues has started to begin, Singapore is also on the run. Featuring a total of SGD 100,00 (almost $74,000), 8 teams will battle for the trophy. Organized by MOONTON Games and Zenway Productions, the offline event takes place in Singapore.
Mobile Legends MPL SG Season 8: Schedule and Format
There will be two stages in the event. The Regular Season will kick off on the 7th of September 2024 and will conclude on the 28th of the same month. All the matches will be single round robin, followed by BO3 format. A team will earn 3 points if it can make the scoreline 2-0. Winning by 2-1 will grant 2 points and the losing team will get 1 point. The top 6 teams from this stage will advance to the Playoffs.
Playoffs will take place in October 11th – 13th 2024 with the top 4 seeded in the Upper Bracket and the bottom 2 in the Lower Bracket. Double-elimination matches will be followed by BO7 format in the Grand Final, BO5 in the Lower Brackets Semifinal and Bracket Final, and all other matches will be BO3.

This is an 8-team event. Only two teams will be taken from open qualifiers which will end on the 27th of March. The rest 6 teams are from the previous edition of the event, MPL SG Season 7. The list of the participating teams is given below.

Prize Pool
Mobile Legends MPL SG Season 8 will feature SGD 100,000 (almost $74,000) for the teams as a prize pool. The champion team will get the highest share. Besides, the team will get a direct slot to the M6 World Championship. Now, let’s break down the amount that each team will get after the event ends.
