EA has recently introduced a brand new hub to FC Mobile 24 on the game home screen with additional activities with the June update, Extra Time. It is a new feature that will be staying in FC Mobile for the next twelve weeks and is not part of any ongoing or future events.
Rather, Extra Time will be featured as a Daily Picks event for new rewards and deals. Introducing the latest feature in FC Mobile: Extra Time! Engage in the first of Daily Picks! Earn Market Pick Tokens and Exchange them for a variety of rewards, including a Top 50 Transfer Market Player Item!

FC Mobile Extra Time: Overview and Picks
You can enter Extra Time from the home screen and discover Player Deals towards various reward pools, costs, and rotation cycles. Your selected reward will be directly sent to your mailbox and ready for you to claim. As for now, this will be similar to the Mystery Signings, offering us something new every day! There are four categories of Picks available in Extra Time currently:
1. Free Pick
When you log in each day, you have a free choice or Free Pick as it is termed which implies three players will be popped up between 70-95 OVR and you get to pick one of them for free and it is then sent to your inbox. Therefore for the next twelve weeks, you will be getting a 70-95 OVR tradeable player every day for free.
2. Daily Pick
If you further want to spend 200 FC Points, you can jump the above choice to an 85-99 OVR with four picks ie four players twice every day. Remember you will need to spend 200 FC Points every time you want to do this Daily Pick. Although the players you will earn from this trade are tradeable, given that you need to spend FC Points every time, it’s definitely not worth it at all.
3. Top 50 Market
Here are the interesting ones and the ones that have everyone confused. Top 50 and Top 500. Based on the wording provided in the tab, if you spend 6000 Market Tokens, the pick will pop up a choice among four tradeable players from the Top 50 most valuable in the game at that moment.
There are no OVR restrictions mentioned so even if the players are 50th, 49th, 48th, and 47th in the market, that is a decent amount of coins guaranteed given the players are all tradeable! Take note that you are only allowed to do this trade only once before the pick expires.
4. Top 500 Market
For the final one, the Top 500 Market, you are allowed to do a maximum of 2x times twice before the pick expires in exchange for 1200 Market Tokens. Again if we go by wording here, it’s the same thing! This time it will be a choice among five tradeable players but the odds given the wording here, it reads as if you will be receiving five players from the Top 500 most valuable in the game at that moment.
Again, there are no OVR restrictions here as well and given this one, you can do it for 5x times therefore even if the 500th, 499th, 498th, 497th, and 496th in the market, that is still a decent amount of coins which is guaranteed!
Player Probabilities from the Market Picks
Top 500 Market
So if just go to the More Info button for both the Top 50 and Top 500 Market Picks, it suggests the Top 500 Market Picks will range from 90-99 OVR Players with a 37% chance of the pick being a 95 OVR. There is a 36% chance of the pick being a 96 OVR while the 98 OVR Players have the probability of being less than 1%. Do note that it doesn’t say anything about current values in the market or anything.
Therefore it could happen that when the pick was reset the players in these picks were in those ranges but the moment when you actually perform the exchange, the players may not be in the Top 500 in the market.
Thus it is advisable to perform the exchanges well in time to ensure that your picks are within the defined range and you make the most of your Picks. However, if it takes time to collect the required Market Tokens, then do wait for some time for the pack to refresh with the latest Player Pool to ensure you get the best results.
We tried the Top 500 Market Pick ourselves and as you can see above, these were the results. As you can see, the majority of the player picks consisted of 95-96 OVR Players while one of them was a 98 OVR. We have been extremely lucky with the 98 OVR pick given the chances of packing a 98 OVR Player from the Top 500 Player Pick is extremely rare.
Top 50 Market
Additionally, if you check the Info for the Top 50, it shows the Top 50 Market Pick will range from 95-99 OVR Players with a 44% chance of the pick being a 98 OVR, while the 98 OVR and beyond Players have the probability of being 36%. So basically you have a high chance that your picks will usually range above 98 OVR players.
If you know the market well, you would have realized by now that since 100 OVR Players are yet to be introduced in the market, the 98 and mostly 99 OVR Players are the ones that constitute the Top 50 most valuable players in the market. Therefore make the most of this pick as this exchange guarantees some really expensive players who can fetch you a massive fortune in the market.
We tried the Top 50 Market Pick ourselves and as you can see above, these were the results. As you can see, the majority of the player picks consisted of 99 OVR Players while one of them was a 98 OVR. We have been extremely lucky with the pick as we got 3/4 players as 99 OVR while only one of them being a 98 OVR. Make your picks fast if you want to maximize your gains.
FC Mobile Extra Time: Market Tokens
You can claim the players from the Top 50 and Top 500 Market Picks by using Market Tokens. Now to get the Market Tokens, you will need to do the Daily Pick exchanges from the Exchanges section. There are four sets of exchanges available in the Daily Picks section with all four of them refreshing daily:

How to get Market Pick Tokens in FC Mobile
From the above table, you can see that doing the 96+OVR Player exchanges for 400-500 Market Pick Tokens is the one from which you can maximize your gains to stack up the Market Pick Tokens. Now it’s not a bad idea especially if you have 96+ OVR untradeable players that you are not going to use for your squad.
Remember it’s a long event therefore once you have collected enough Tokens to be able to do both the Top 50 and Top 500 Market Picks for each reset. It’s fine even if it takes too much time to do the exchanges, you will be using your untradeable players that you have no use for in exchange for Coins or at least some sort of from the Market Picks. But don’t buy anything from the market to do these exchanges!
Even if you can’t make all the exchanges before the Top 50 and Top 500 Market Picks resets or you run out of inventory, don’t panic! You won’t be missing out on much! It’s always better to do the Trades later once the Market Picks refreshes with the updated players than doing the trades at the last moment before the Picks reset, where the Top 50 and Top 500 market players have changed while the Picks are not updated yet with the latest players. Therefore keep collecting your Market Tokens and perform your Exchanges at the right time!
