It is that time of the year again! Amidst a successful TOTY (Team of the Year) event and after the short Thunderstruck event, EA Sports brings the much-awaited Carnival event. As the Carnival will be held in Rio earlier this month, in honor of this tradition EA joins the party with FC Mobile Carnival.
Get your masks and costumes ready, it’s time for Carnival in FC Mobile! Collaborate and earn rewards with your community! Join one of the three Carnival teams and play through the event to rack up points that unlock team-wide rewards!
FC Mobile 25 Carnival Event Description
Event Duration: February 26th – March 12th (14 Days)

FC Mobile 25 Carnival Event Flow
Main
First things first, Carnival is a mini-event, and it’s probably the best mini-event we have seen in the game for a very long time. Each day you will log in to the Main Tab and play between a choice of two Skill Games and a PvE-based AI Match or just one PvE-based AI Match to earn Coins and Carnival Pass Points. Once you complete either of the above two, you will get Carnival Progress.

Next over here in the final Gallery Tab tab, whereas in past events, all the event-exclusive players are displayed. But this time, there’s a twist, similar to recent events these players are not only available in Packs where you can avail them provided your luck is great but you also can get them in exchange for a new currency, Carnival Shards.
There are three sets of players with the players ranging from 104-107 OVR and all of them are untradeable. Provided on the amount of Shards you accumulate over the event, you can get them. Given the TOTY event offered some high-rated players, these players may seem less lucrative, however, if you are targeting any of the 107 OVR Icons, then don’t have second thoughts, they are certainly worth your Gems.
There is a third section as well, Rewards where you can trade your valuable Carnival Shards for Coins, Training Transfer Points, and even Universal Rank Player – Mascheranos if any of the Carnival players don’t interest you. There is a Carnival Shard Exchange as well on the further right-hand side where you can exchange your Carnival event Players should you manage to pull any for Carnival Shards.
Therefore, Carnival Shards can be earned through player exchange and used to exchange for specific players. In return, you can exchange Carnival event Players for Carnival Shards. The exchanges are very interesting and involve trading in Carnival event Players solely for Carnival Shards.
So from the below image, if you exchange a 105 OVR Carnival event Player tradeable or untradeable that you don’t find suitable for your squad, you will get 120 Carnival Shards back which you can later utilize to get a player suitable for your team.
Do note that you can perform the above exchanges, you can get Carnival event players either from the Market or by buying the Gem Pack offers from the Store for 2500-3000 Gems. But do remember whichever player you are targeting from the event will be untradeable and you can’t sell it in the market for a profit.
Carnival Pass
Similar to all the mini-events, there’s an event-specific Pass for Carnival as well. You need to complete the Float Parade Skill Games and Matches from the Main Tab to gain the Carnival Pass Points and progress through the Carnival Pass. There are two sides to the Pass with of course the Paid Pass being more lucrative than the Free one.
There are also in-game resources for the event present in the Carnival Pass. Gain progress through the Carnival Pass and earn Carnival Players, Universal Rank Players, FC Points, Gems, Training Transfer Points, Coins, and the Thunderstruck Star Pass special player pre-ranked 108 OVR CAM Matheus Cunha!

Carnival Progress
- Earn them by completing the Float Parade Skill Games and Matches from the Main tab
- Use them to claim the Parade Rewards in the Main tab
Carnival Shards
- Earn them by exchanging Carnival event players from the in-game Store or the Main tab
- Collect them to claim Carnival event players or Rewards in the Gallery tab
Carnival Pass Points
- Earn them by completing the Float Parade Skill Games and Matches from the Main tab
- Spend them to progress through the Carnival Pass
Running the Math for F2P Players
As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players.

FC Mobile 25 Carnival Event Guide
Carnival has a fair amount of grind, with daily challenge mode to play in FC Mobile 25. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.

From the above, we can understand that should you go for any of the higher-rated Carnival Players, you will fall short of the required Carnival Shards, given you can’t actually earn enough of them from playing the event. Now to get the Shards, you will need to perform the Shard Exchanges ie trading in Carnival event Players for Carnival Shards. The Tokens vary based on the Carnival player OVR you exchange for.

Now we can see in the above table, you get 120 Carnival Shards back for trading in a 105 OVR Carnival event Player, however, the same 105 OVR Carnival event Player when on claiming requires a whopping 300-600 Carnival Shards.
Now from the Calculations above you can see that should you play the event throughout, you are gonna easily end with at least 250 Carnival Shards without performing any of the Shard Exchanges. To negate the difference, you can buy Carnival event Players from the market as well and utilize them in Shard Exchanges.
However, should you decide to spend Gems, two popular Packs offer a 101-107 OVR Carnival untradeable event Player for 3000 Gems or a 99-107 OVR Carnival untradeable event Player for 2500 Gems.
Although it sounds baffling why someone will do the exchange in the first place, should you get any low OVR Carnival event Players from the Gem Packs or the Main chapter, know that you can’t utilize them anywhere so exchanging them for Shards is the logical way.
You can get your choice of 105-107 OVR Carnival Players from the event provided you have adequate Gems
Given a decent 106 OVR Carnival Player requires 500 Carnival Shards minimum, you will need around 60000 Gems which is 20x of the 101-107 OVR Gem Packs with the worst possible luck. Similarly, for a 107 OVR Player, the amount of Gems required increases exponentially. The players look really solid and are end-game, therefore make your decision wisely with the Gems you have in store.
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
There’s one thing the Carnival event has brought in FC Mobile ie the Mascheranos and there are plenty of them on the offer. Coming to the Gallery tab, there are three Mascheranos up for grabs, should you aim for the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano instead of the Carnival event Players or Training Transfer Points.
Finally, there are two Mascheranos available on the Free side of the Carnival Pass adding the total to 5x Mascheranos given your choice throughout the event. In the end, Carnival is a resource-intensive event. If you entirely ignore all the players it offers, there are still a handful of Coins and Gems on offer from the Parade Rewards, and the Multi-Pass.
FC Mobile 25 Carnival Event Players
That’s it the FC Mobile 25 Carnival event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Basically, just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
It’s just stuff we haven’t seen before with some variations, that are much better versions of the mini-events than we have seen before. The event doesn’t solely depend on pack luck; you can proceed with a goal towards getting a player. Yes, you actually have a choice this time! It’s pretty decent!
