With the introduction of Genshin Impact Patch 2.4 Update , players will be introduced to new characters, Yun Jin and Shenhe. Players get to know more about the newly introduced character, Yun Jin by playing the newly released Hangout Event. Hangout events are special Story Quests that can be replayed and have multiple endings. The Hangout event will guide the Genshin Impact travelers to get to know these characters in-depth. In this guide, we will list ways to complete all 5 endings in Genshin Impact, thus, completing the Hangout event for Yun Jin.
Genshin Impact Yun Jin “A Song That Knows Grace” Hangout Event: How to unlock
To unlock Yun Jin’s Hangout Event, travellers need to be Adventure Rank 28 or above. They need to have two story keys. Each story key is unlocked by completing 8 daily commissions. Additionally, players will need to complete the newly introduced Archon Quest “The Crane Returns on the Wind”.
The hangout event has 5 different endings. Each of which can be unlocked by conversing with Liyue-based opera singer, Yun Jin. We will be listing all the dialogues that are integral in reaching the ending. All other dialogues are inconsequential and do not change the outcome.
1. First ending: “A Shame that the Road is Rocky”
To start the hangout event, travellers need to talk with Yun Jin. He will be near the Lunju Pass. Players must defeat the Ruin Hunter to begin the conversation.
The following choices need to be made to reach the first ending:
- “Ultimately, safety should come first…”
- “Make the most of it. You may as well talk to them.”
- “(No need to check in with Yun Jin. This ends now!)”
2. Second ending: “And Few Friends You Shall Find”
To avoid travelling and skipping through initial dialogues, travellers can choose “ A strict contract” from the hangout branching menu. The second ending has only one different dialogue selection from the first ending.
The following choices need to be made to reach the second ending:
- “Ultimately, safety should come first…”
- “Make the most of it. You may as well talk to them.”
- “(I should stay hidden for now and check in with Yun Jin.)”
3. Third ending: “And Few Friends You Shall Find”
The third ending diverges from the first two, at the selection of the second course changing selection. Hence, travellers can start the conversation with the Guests from the Steambird part in the branching section.
The following choices need to be made to reach the third ending:
- “Ultimately, safety should come first…”
- “Make the most of it. You may as well talk to them.”
- “That’s a shame. Your offstage personality is definitely the cuter one.”
4. Fourth ending: “A Souvenir Without Sentiment is of Little Worth”
The penultimate ending is a heartbreaking one for Yun Jin, as she finds that the traveller prefers her on-stage personality more than her real personality. The only choice that differs from the previous ending is the on the stage and behind the stage selection.
The following choices need to be made to reach the fourth ending:
- “Ultimately, safety should come first…”
- “Make the most of it. You may as well talk to them.”
- “Your onstage persona is more striking. That’s unavoidable.”
5. Fifth ending: The Cast Contemplates the Play’s Meaning
The last ending is straightforward, as players will only need to choose the correct option in the “Crisis averted” section of the event. while all other options after this selection will lead to the end.
The following choice needs to be made to reach the fifth ending:
- “You made a good point, Yun Jin…”
It is to be noted that players can unlock the secret achievement “A Strict Master Trains a Talented Pupil”, during the fifth ending. All the players need to do is not to hit the blue dummies during the training.

Unlocking all endings and doing all the achievements will grant players 90 Primogems, 500 Adventure EXP and more.
