Clash Heroes faces uncertain future as Clash website redirects to Clash Mini Closure Notice

Goodbye to all three?

If you are curious about the development regarding Supercell’s Clash Heroes, well, I have some news to share. I found that the official Clash website now redirects to the Closure Notice of the recently shut down Clash Mini, which has come as a surprise and confusion if Clash Heroes is clubbed with the end of service, with a question on the future of the long-announced title.

Clash Heroes remained the only “Clash” game among the three with other two shutdown

The history of Clash Heroes dates back to 2021 when Supercell announced that the Clash World is expanding into 3 new games with Clash Quest and Clash Mini being the other two.

Just after a year, Clash Quest development was stalled citing “high standards”, but Clash Mini was one of the three games in the pipeline for a 2024 launch alongside Squad Busters and mo.co before it also bid goodbye amidst a huge community uproar against the decision.

I remember the game having a high ceiling and was also deemed the game that might be the next big hit from Supercell that fans have been waiting for, given the fantastic combination of real-time strategy and action-packed combat on beautiful maps, a formula that Supercell found success with Brawl Stars. Sadly, that seems to be a distant dream now.

If you click on the clash dot com website, well, you are in a surprise. You will find a surprising announcement about the shutdown of Clash Mini. Although Clash Heroes isn’t mentioned anywhere in the post, maybe we have seen the end of it. The last update for Clash Heroes was in 2021, raising doubts about whether Supercell is continuing its development or if it has been quietly shelved.

Supercell’s long list of shelving games is something fans are concerned about

In these names, definitely, there are some names that you would think “this should have been a hit” but the developers had other plans. There might be many internal reasons behind killing a game, but this doesn’t please the fans. Despite the long silence, there’s always a glimmer of hope that Supercell might revive Clash Heroes in the future.
