Cookie Run: Kingdom 6th September 2022 update brings Black Pearl Islands and a new Legendary Cookie

Introducing two new cookies!

The latest Cookie Run: Kingdom 6th September 2022 Update is out now, and players will find many new features in the game. This update introduces the third Legendary Cookie in the game, a new special gacha, and a limited-time game mode. There are a total of two new cookies in this update, and they are probably going to be popular choices in Arena in the upcoming days.

New Game Mode: Black Pearl Islands

This new game mode uses Stamina Jellies, so you can do as many runs as you want as long as you have the required amount of Stamina Jellies. It consists of you piloting a ship across a board and battling enemies on the islands you encounter.

There are also new mini-games you can play, where you move a cookie and try to avoid the lightning strikes on the screen, or run and slide on a track where your main goal is to collect Black Pearl Coins. Chests can be found around the map, and you can unlock them by gaining a special Key that can be claimed from events or in the Trade Harbor. You finish the game mode when you reach the final boss!

Black Pearl Cookie has arrived in the kingdom! They are the third Legendary released, and they’re long-awaited since the last Legendary in the game was released 10 months ago. They can be found in the regular and featured epic gachas, but they have a higher drop rate in the Legendary Gacha. Try to do as many missions as you can so you can have a higher chance of getting her!

She’s an Ambush cookie with a powerful skill that deals True Damage to cookies, which is relative to their HP. Black Pearl creates a whirlpool that drags enemies down and deals periodic damage to them. She also applies the Terror of The Abyss debuff, which is only unique to her. Note that she’s resistant to this debuff from enemy Black Pearl Cookies in Arena.

Caviar Cookie was first introduced in the Cookie Odyssey storyline and is now a playable cookie. He’s a summoner cookie that releases Black Shark Torpedoes and provides a useful Debuff Resist buff to his allies.

His skill targets enemies (targets cookies first) with the lowest HP stat, which is useful in Arena since these are usually the main attackers of their team. His skill also does area damage, as well as a DEF Reduction debuff to enemies.

New Guild Improvements

New changes were made to Guild Battle and will take effect on September 8 (GMT +9:00).

  • Prior to the update, players could only do a maximum of 8 battles per boss. Now, players can hit up to 9 times per boss, which means they can choose a boss to avoid for a season.
  • The number of Heroic Torches given per Round has been increased by 30%, so players will be able to buy more things in the Guild Shop. Each boss also gives extra Heroic Torches, with the lower boss levels getting a higher increase than the higher boss levels.
  • Defeating a boss now rewards 15% more trophies.
  • Players can now go on Practice Mode during Tallying Day.

The Seaside Market and Rainbow Shell Gallery now sell Duskgloom Keys. Soulstones of Financier Cookie can now be purchased in the Mileage Shop. Players can now skip multiple islands in the Tropical Soda Islands, and a new button lets players use their Time Skippers with one tap.

The islands are reclaimed in descending order. A bug in Clotted Cream Cookie’s skill was fixed since sometimes he wouldn’t deal a portion of damage to enemies. A bug in Guild Battle where the bosses had an inaccurate DEF stat was fixed.
