Experience the revamped League system with your league mates
Leagues as we know are entirely changing with the upcoming “fan-based” update in early January. The devs are entirely changing the current Leagues system and giving us, the players an early sneak peek of what’s next to come in the ongoing beta. According to EA, the upcoming update is set to emphasize connecting, competing, collaborating, and rewarding players as part of a community.
With the new League system, you can now team up with up to 100 members, increased from the original 32 with an improved and streamlined chat system that enables better communication with your league mates. With your new league mates, you can engage in new League-specific Quests to earn Rewards.
Additionally, you can now complete certain Quests by collaborating as a League and get seasonal rewards. Together you can compete for new rewards and climb up the updated league leaderboard. With the increase in league members, now more players can participate in tournaments as well, contributing to your league’s overall rewards!
Do remember that when the new League system is implemented in the upcoming January Update, all of your current Leagues will reset. Therefore you will need to start creating your Leagues from scratch as your existing league will not carry over. Don’t panic, this reset is necessary due to the introduction of a new Leagues format that accommodates up to 100 members. Passing Improvements
The Enhanced Passing System has been further improvised to enable players more control and fluidity in build-up play. Ground Through Passes will now assess the space and positioning of your teammates much better, thereby improving pass lead distance and preserving momentum.
Additionally, your Regular Ground Passes will now become faster and more reliable and will deliver the pass directly to your teammate’s feet with full precision and avoid opponent defenders on the way.
Defending Improvements
Stand Tackles have been further enhanced and now they will provide successful outcomes with the tackles causing opponents to stumble and lose the ball, thereby increasing the ball recovery chances. Additionally, the new and Improved ability to defend while chasing opponents from behind will allow more effective challenges.

- Removing Stun Effects caused by Skill Moves in H2H matches.
- Improvement and adjustment of difficulty levels in PvE-based AI Matches.
- Further adjustments to the existing Speed Boost in Skill Moves such as Heel to Heel, Open up Fake Shot, Stepover, and Exit.
- Introducing new weather effects.
