Most of the PES players wait for the datapack updates which always bring something new to the game. The latest update for eFootball PES 2021 arrived in the game on 24th June 2021 with the latest Datapack 7.0 addition to both PC and Mobile. The new update had its own inclusions, just like the previous Datapack updates 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and 6.0 which will be available to the players once they update the game. Again, focusing on Iconic Moment players, there are new IMs introduced, along with face updates, kit updates, and additions, etc, into the game, which we can experience while we play. So, in this article, we will go through the newest additions that have been added to the game with the Datapack 7.0 update.
Latest additions in the PES 2021 Datapack 7.0
New Iconic Moments added
We can say that no Datapack can come live without the addition of Iconic Moments. Well, this has been a very frequent addition in every datapack, as KONAMI have found a way to lure their players into such shiny pink Iconic cards, but as a fan of the game, we can’t complain much. We see again some new Iconic Moments coming into the game with this latest PES 2021 Datapack 7.0 update. KONAMI has introduced some surprisingly new big name, and have, without a doubt, introduced some repeats but they look solid overall.

Two big names stand out: Kaka and Ronaldo. Well, Kaka coming to the game is a huge boost for both the players and KONAMI, in terms of market value, the legendary midfielder can attract a lot of audiences and can improve the profit for the game. The card looks solid overall, and definitely, we can expect Kaka to run riot.
Another name is Ronaldo, yes he has his big share of IM versions but what makes this card stand out is that he is a Goal Poacher. Players could experience a deadly poaching Ronaldo in the first half of PES 2018 and that was it. Overall, the stats are very good and with 99 Finishing, this is his first card to get that stat without Club boost.
Other cards are rereleases we would say, Rashford, Maradona, Messi, Miura have already got their IMs in-game, whereas, for Iniesta, the card is from Vissel Kobe and Kagawa getting a Manchester United card. With the Iniesta IM coming, we hope to see another legendary Spanish striker David Villa to be introduced to the game in the future.
New and Updated Player faces
Once again, we will get to see some updated player faces. Around 50+ faces have been updated/added to the game, most of the players being from La Liga and the Premier League. These updates are really good to not see AI-generated faces while giving them a better look and feel. Along with this, KONAMI has added the Neymar face, which wasn’t added in the last datapack 6.0.

Also, a special Iconic Moment Series Agent will be available during the period Campaign Period 24/06/2021 02:00 – 01/07/2021 01:59 (UTC). This is an Iconic Match where a young Messi scored an iconic goal against Getafe on 18th April, 2007.
Final Thoughts
The best part of this datapack is that they have introduced two fresh Iconic Moments (Club) in Okazaki and Kaka, along with the National Team kits coming. It will be very interesting to don a National kit to the players and watch them perform. The stats of the new Iconic Moments players are very impressive, and all the three: Juventus Ronaldo, Barcelona Messi and Manchester United Rashford getting a lot of good stats with an impressive boost might make the players who purchased the Player Pack from the store a bit disappointed, but anyway, those packs did have a lot of value.
What is disappointing is that there were no Legends added, which should have been as legend versions of Forlan or Japanese ones would have been better. Face updates have been interesting and carry weight in every datapack update, so there aren’t many complaints on that matter. Overall, the datapack update is a big plus for KONAMI and with Kaka introduced, we can expect more big names to follow.
