FC Tactical, EA‘s sports and turn-based strategy title, is finally set to launch in select regions after being opened for pre-registrations months back. The game had previously released for early access under the name of Tactical Football, before being incorporated into EA Sports FC’s upcoming gaming ecosystem, with a new name. FC Tactical will be available for both Android and iOS in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia from May 23, 2024.
FC Tactical’s rebranding was announced during the EA Sports FC 24 trailer-launch event, where EA announced its plans and expansions with its EA Sports FC brand and own gaming ecosystem. EA is set to expand its range of mobile games with the recently released EA Sports FC Mobile, World of League Football, and EA Sports FC Tactical.
FC Tactical brings a new strategic gaming experience combining soccer with turn-based gameplay
As its name suggests, FC Tactical unlike its sister title, mixes turn-based strategic elements from football giving your game a different outlook. You will build your dream team, strategize your moves, and enjoy the thrill of playing heated PvP matches against players worldwide. Additionally, you can train your players to master high-skill moves, unlock special traits, and customize your team with various items like stadium designs, kits, and balls.
Featuring fresh turn-based gameplay, the game promises to provide a true-to-life experience at your fingertips while simultaneously providing hyper-real pleasure with fantastical movement. Possibly much similar to the FIFA Manager series from the console, you will step in as your team’s manager immersing yourself in the interactive simulation with strategic gameplay that offers opportunities to attack, defend, or shoot between a group of players on the pitch.
And, with EA’s wide licensing portfolio under its wing, Tactical Football promises to improve the realism of virtual football by integrating advanced tactical features. In addition to this, the game will feature over 5000 authentic football players from top European football leagues including Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, and the iconic UEFA Champions League offering a dynamic management experience.

To become an FC Tactical Founder, all you have to do is pre-register for the game from either the game’s official website or from your Android or iOS device. But remember, you will need to pre-register by May 31st, to claim the exclusive benefits!
Currently, FC Tactical is set to launch in select regions of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia starting May 23, 2024. If you are residing in those regions, you can go ahead and put on your manager’s suit right away. However, if you are living elsewhere, go ahead and pre-register for the game right away and cement your place as the game’s founder!
Once you complete the sign up from the website, you are greeted with a welcome stating “You’re signed up for the latest EA SPORTS FC and EA news and updates, including your invite to join the Club in July“. Although its not official yet, but we can expect the game to launch sometime later in July
