And now, the Fortnite v20.30 update has arrived in the game, and here’s what players can expect from the third content update of Chapter 3 Season 2.

But the most important POI Battle is yet to begin: the Battle for Tilted Towers will determine the fate of the entire island. Join the Resistance in their fight against the IO! An IO Blimp carrying Huntmaster Saber, who refuses to stand down, soars over the buildings.

Star Wars content returns in the game

Fortnite is set to celebrate Star Wars Day all year, not just on May 4th! Battle with Lightsabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles from May 3 to May 17, 2022. Completing new Star Wars quests will also grant you access to an Empire Banner.

Lightsabers are back! Pick up Luke Skywalker’s LightsaberKylo Ren’s Lightsaber, and Mace Windu’s Lightsaber across the Island. What about the blue lightsabers? There are blue ones too, but this time they’re Obi-Wan‘s.

Players can now use the E-11 Blaster Rifle when they return to the island! Stormtroopers have set up checkpoints in the search for Obi-Wan; visit one of these checkpoints and trade your Bars for a Blaster! They can also be found in chests and on the ground.

In the spirit of Stormtroopers, the new Star Wars Quests feature Stormtrooper training. These Quests, which are available now through May 17 at 12 a.m. ET will require you to seize a “land speeder” (a.k.a. a vehicle), seize and use “Jedi contraband” (a.k.a. a lightsaber), and more. The 4th Quest awards XP every May, and completing five will win you an Empire Banner.

Over the course of the Star Wars Day festivities, every non-Battle Pass Star Wars Outfit that’s been in the Item Shop will make an intergalactic comeback:

  • Imperial Stormtrooper
  • Kylo Ren
  • Zorii Blis
  • Finn
  • Rey
  • Sith Trooper
  • Boba Fett
  • Fennec Shand
  • Krrsantan

All Shotguns have received a damage balance update in the Fortnite v20.30 update. The damage to most shots and headshots will be increased as a result of these adjustments. A max damage cap has been added to all shotguns, limiting the amount of damage a single shot may do.
