Garena has confirmed that the Alpine map is making a comeback in the Free Fire ranked mode. The map will arrive along with the new Free Fire OB39 update on March 22, 2023. One of the most popular Free Fire maps, Alpine, was released in January 2022 and offers characteristics that draw players, like trains, helicopters, mountains, military bases, ships, wind energy, unique textures, and exclusive buildings that stand out from the previous Battle Royale maps.
About the Alpine map in Free Fire
Like the other Battle Royale maps, Alpine exists in real life and is a region located in the US state of California, in San Diego County.The place is surrounded by mountains, lakes and there is snow most of the year.
Alpine is the fifth map in the game, which already features Bermuda, Purgatório, Kalahari and Bermuda 2.0. The aesthetics of Alpine is completely immersive. When exploring the new Alpine map, we can see that there is a very wide range of cities and details scattered throughout the new map, which deviates significantly from the pattern used in the existing maps and even contains a possible allusion to the Counter Strike video game, with the city in a train station.
This map also seems more graphically appealing as the island looks breathtaking from the sky through the plane. It’s like a fusion between Purgatory and Bermuda Remastered especially noticeable when venturing on some of the locations containing similar structures, however, there are non-interactable objects that may surprise you, such as electric windmills powered by solar energy, a train, a container ship, and a helicopter.
