LumiTopia has officially revealed its new 3D first-person otome title, LAST SERENADE, and has already held its first closed beta test in China. Developed with Unreal Engine 5 by a small team of just 20 people, the game also utilizes AI to offer a narrative-driven experience, story stages, interactions, and more.

So, LAST SERENADE is a 3D otome game that invites you to an immersive interactive experience with first-person exploration, daily life, puzzles, and, of course, romance. I like how the game splits into two interconnected worlds, with the main one letting you build relationships through conversation, dates, and daily interactions.
Then there is the Mirror World, where the plot takes an unpredictable turn. Here, you can explore dungeons filled with evolving stories, puzzle-solving, and twists shaped by your decisions. While the otome genre is not really my type, I can tell that this dungeon element will surely keep the game more entertaining.

I also like how both worlds are connected, and the coolest part? The experiences you go through in the dungeon are not removed, but you carry them into the main world to slowly deepen your bond with the characters.
Now, while many don’t like the use of AI in games, the devs of this title are clearly leaning into it, and it’s not just for dialogues, but also for character interactions, puzzle design, and AI-powered story stages. Overall, the game does look promising if done well, though fans are having mixed emotions about the character design on Reddit.
LAST SERENADE held its first closed beta test in China, drawing mixed reactions from fans. While the announcement of Archosaur Games‘ Silent Whispers may have diminished its momentum, the hype is still there.
