Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is set to introduce its latest patch update, Breaking Waves, on the original server on March 19, 2025. This update brings a wave of new content, including balance adjustments, new skins, events, and more. I will break down everything that is coming with the Breaking Waves patch, including skins event reruns, and more.
MLBB Breaking Waves Patch Update: Kalea
In the upcoming update, Kalea, the new hero, will join the game. She is a descendant of the Great Serpent from the Vonetis Sea and is a Support/Fighter hybrid who excels at roaming. Her unique playstyle allows you to heal your teammates by attacking enemies.
She also brings a powerful crowd-control ability, allowing you to body slam your enemies around, somewhat similar to Atlas‘ ultimate, making her a formidable close-combat support. With her mix of sustainability and disruption, we can expect her to make a strong impact, arriving on the original server on March 19, 2025.
MLBB Breaking Waves Patch Update: Balance Adjustments
This patch introduces several balance adjustments, many of which were implemented based on the community’s feedback. Beginning with Season 35, the seasonal settlement time will be adjusted to align with patch update dates.
Killing Spree (↑)
The Assassin Emblem’s Killing Spree is receiving a buff, now triggering when you deal damage to low-HP heroes.
Temporal Reign (↑)
The Common Emblem’s Temporal Reign is also getting a buff, with its duration extending upon securing a kill or an assist.
Focusing Mark (↑)
The Support Emblem’s Focusing Mark is getting a boost, further increasing your allies’ damage output and their movement speed.
Tenacity (~)
The Tank Emblem’s Tenacity is undergoing a balanced update, increasing Physical and Magical defense by 15 when you are low on HP >> Gains 5% damage reduction.
Pull Yourself Together (↑)
The Support Emblem’s Pull Yourself Together is being buffed, with the initial effect reduced to 12%, but it can now increase up to 20% by killing enemies or gaining assists.
Firmness (↑)
The Fighter Emblem’s Firmness is receiving a buff, increasing both Physical and Magic Defense bonuses.
Inspire (↑)
The Mage Emblem’s Inspire is improved, now offering Mana Regen.
Dire Hit (Adjustment)
Dire Hit is getting a revamp in the coming update. Now, when an enemy is affected by control effects, your teammates’ damage will trigger a Dire Hit on the target.
Mobile Legends Patch Breaking Waves Update: New Events and Skins
With the new month of March, we will list down the new updates for events, new skins, and more, as a part of the Breaking Waves Patch update in MLBB.
Dazzling Golden Base Event
The Dazzling Golden Base Event will be available for a limited time from March 19 to April 4, 2025. During this event, you’ll have a small chance to transform the base into a golden base, by playing Ranked or Classic matches.
Beyond the visual changes, you can earn extra event currency and collect up to 12 Dazzling Golden Spin keys by destroying these golden bases. You should also look out for the hidden easter egg tasks for more rewards.
New Skins
- Benedetta’s Phantom Mirage skin will be available with the new update, on March 19, 2025, for 30% discount in the first week.
- Kalea‘s Shimmering Waves skin launches alongside the hero on March 19, 2025 for only 51 Diamonds in the first two weeks.
- S36 First Recharge Upgrade: Alucard’s Demon’s Bane will be the S3D First Recharge exclusive Special skin, costing 100 Diamonds.
- Hilda’s Aries will return as a part of the Zodiac skins for a limited time on March 21, 2025.
- Skins Return: Roger’s Cyborg Werewolf and Karrie’s Gill-girl skins will return for a limited time from March 26, 2025 to April 1, 2025.
- Premium Skin Fragment Shop: Lapu-Lapu’s Son of the Wild will be added to the Premium Skin Fragment Shop on March 20, 2025.
- Rare Skin Fragment Shop: Karrie’s Dragon Queen, Akai’s Akazonae Samurai, Cyclops’s Deep Sea Rescuer, Zilong’s Eastern Warrior, and Barats’s Armored Lizard will be added to the Rare Skin Fragment Shop.
Events, and more surprises
Revenant of Roses Draw Event
The Revenant of Roses Draw Event will run from March 22, 2025, to April 22, 2025, introducing Alpha’s new Legend Skin, Revenant of Roses. And for the first time, this Legend skin will come with an exclusive ID Tag.
But that’s not all, as you will also get to experience the first-ever animated portrait, Revenant of Roses-Dynamic Portrait. I am excited for this one.
Mega Draw
You can take part in the Mega Draw from March 22 to March 26, 2025, and grab the Mega Draw Packs with discounts of up to 90%. You can obtain Revenant of Roses Tokens from these packs, and it also grants Lucky Numbers, giving you a chance to win up to 50,000 Diamonds.
Lesley’s Duchess of Tides Event
The Lesley’s Duchess of Tides event will begin on March 24 and last until April 30, 2025, featuring Lesley’s Duchess of Tides skin and Duchess of Depths painted skin.
In this event, you can purchase the Soiree Invitation for 349 to unlock the brand-new skin, along with various other rewards. You can also get the Deep Sea Soiree Invitation for 599 Diamonds to obtain both skins and 150 Crystal of Aurora.
Other Miscellaneous updates
- Recall Effect Pack Returns: The two exclusive Recall Effects, Seal of Anvil Crawlers and Fire Crown, will be back for a limited time from March 26 to April 1, 2025.
- Common Sacred Statue Return: The limited Sacred Statue, Tesla Tower, is also returning for a limited time from March 26 to April 1, 2025.
- Magic Wheel Discount: You can enjoy a 20% discount on the Magic Wheel from March 26 to April 1, 2025.
- Dazzling Golden Spin: On March 28, the event’s 7-day cumulative weekly login task will be adjusted to 5 days.
- New Recall Effect Pack: The latest exclusive Recall Effect, Converging Blades will be available on March 19, 2025.
- New Power Crystal Items: Power Crystal will feature two new items, Dark Warlord Avatar Border, and Take Aim Battle Emote from March 19, 2025.
- Brody, Johnson, and Pharsa are also receiving buffs in the upcoming update.
