Skill Analysis

Benedetta is a hero with the common four skill sets of one passive and three actives. In this Benedetta guide, let’s see what are her abilities in Mobile Legends, and when you can use which skill to get the best out of her.

Passive – Elapsed Daytime (Mobility, Damage)

passive

This is a unique type of passive for Benedetta. When holding down the basic attack button, she charges her attack; which you can see under her HP bar. She will enter the Swordout state and when the sword is fully charged, release the basic attack button and Benedetta will charge towards the direction she is facing dealing ( +215% Total Physical Attack) (Physical Damage) to enemies on the path.

This skill can only be activated when the sword is fully charged. The sword can be charged not only by basic attacks but also by using other skills. Note that the damage inflicted by the basic attack aspect of this skill is count as skill damage. When used against minions and creeps, the skill damage is subject to a 50% reduction.

Skill 1 – Phantom Slash (AOE, Mobility)

CD – 10.0 / 9.6 / 9.2 / 8.8 / 8.4 / 8.0

skill 1

This is a very useful skill for Benedetta. She can perform a short dash with this skill. This skill deals damage twice; the first damage has a wide range and the second one has a narrow range. After casting this skill Benedetta will slash forward in a fan-shaped area dealing 200( +75% Total Physical Attack) physical damage and slowing down the target by 60% for 0.5 seconds. Benedetta also dashes forward during slash, while the slash deals 75( +100% Total Physical Attack) physical damage to enemies.

Notably, a successful hit by Benedetta’s shadow enhances her damage by 200%.

Skill 2 – An Eye for An Eye (Mobility, Buff)

CD – 15.0 / 14.4 / 13.8 / 13.2 / 12.6 / 12.0

skill 2

This is a dash/escape skill for Benedetta. Before the dash, she will raise her weapon for a defense stance. The time duration is 0.8 seconds and during this period she will be immune to damage and Crowd Control; then she performs the dash while dealing 300( +80% Total Physical Attack) amount of physical damage to all enemies in the path.

If Benedetta successfully fends off any damage while defending, she will gain full (Sword Intent). If she fends off any control effects, her subsequent stab stuns the target for 1.5s.

Ultimate Skill – Alecto: Final Blow (Burst, Mobility)

CD – 45.0 / 40.0 / 35.0

skill 3

Mostly all of her skills are dash, so ultimate is not an exception. In this skill, Benedetta grabs Alecto, swiftly dashing forward (she can’t be targeted during the dash), and unleashes a slash after a short delay, triggering the release of Sword Intent along her path.

Over the next 2.5 seconds, Sword Intent dishes out a maximum of 1560 (+1105% Extra Physical Attack) physical damage to enemies within, slowing them by 50%.

Best Emblem Set and Spells for Benedetta in Mobile Legends

As you play on the Exp lane or Jungle, there are two different emblems we would like to recommend. Use either a Custom Assassin emblem or a Custom Fighter emblem and find out what suits you better. In this Mobile Legends guide, we will choose the best emblem set to play with Benedetta in-game.

Custom Assassin Emblem

As Benedetta is a proper assassin you can use a Custom Assassin Emblem on her. It will increase her early game damage. It will provide both Movement Speed and Adaptive Attack as well as Physical Penetration. For the standard talent, we recommend going with Rupture and Festival of Blood as they will provide penetration and spell vamp. For the core talent go for Lethal Ignition, providing extra burn damage on multi-hits to enhance her burst damage potential.

Custom Fighter Emblem

You can also use Custom Fighter Emblem, as it will provide both Spell Vamp and Adaptive Attack as well as Hybrid Defense. For standard talent go for Rupture and Festival of Blood just like in the Custom Assassin Emblem. For the core talent, you can go for Killing Spree providing regen and speed up after a kill enhances Benedetta’s sustain.

Battle Spells

Petrify is Benedetta’s preferred battle spell in Mobile Legends. It allows you to immobilize your target in place, and ensure that you hit them with Alecto: Final Blow or Phantom Slash. You can also use Retribution if you want to go jungling.

Mobile Legends Benedetta Gameplay Tips

Benedetta fully relies on her skill combos and basic attacks. So use your skills wisely to dominate the battlefield. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our Mobile Legends Benedetta guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game in the game. However, a player must need a good understanding of the map to bring the best out of any hero.

Early Game

In the early game, concentrate on getting the last hits on minions to gain gold and experience. Try to cut lane to clear the minions first then go to enemies buff or rotate to other lane and poke them. Take advantage of Benedetta’s passive to harass opponents and control the lane. Her first skill, Phantom Slash, is great for poking enemies and securing last hits.

Be careful with extended fights since Benedetta’s sustain is limited early on. Don’t hold back your ultimate skill in clearing minion waves or securing objectives.

Mid Game

In mid-phase try to roam and use your basic dash cause it is unlimited and does not consume any mana. With the help of her Skill 2, you can easily be immune from any attack damage or CC. Master this skill to avoid damage in a team fight. In addition, if you have done it perfectly the target will be stunned.

When you bought two of your core items, that’s the perfect time for her to shines most on the battlefield. Always target enemy carry or squishy damage dealers with Benedetta. Skill 2 will also help you in Turret dive. You can immune turret damage by using skill 2 properly. Try to take the turtle with the help of your allies.

Late Game

Benedetta’s most skills are blink type so placing ultimate is very important in the late phase. Use ultimate on monsters while invading. Always charge with passive so you can hit passive multiple times in a fight. Unlike other assassins, her dash has a slight delay so stay behind a tank. Don’t be too aggressive.

Once she caught by the enemy (CC+Burst), she is done. Don’t always save your ultimate, if the situation goes wrong use skill 3 to escape from that. Always try to perform a combo from the bush after initiation. It is important to have Buffs with her, so she can easily rotate inside lanes too. Use this skill combo to deal maximum damage;

Basic Dash+Skill 3+Skill 2+Skill 1+Basic Dash

Use your ultimate at last, if the enemy has their dash skills left.

Benedetta has a tough time against Heroes with crowd control and high burst damage, but she’s great at countering those with dash skills. She also pairs well with heroes who can set up plays for effective combos. If you are curious to know more about which hero counters who in Mobile Legends, check our detailed guide on that.

Final Thoughts

Benedetta is a strong assassin in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, but since most of her skills involve blinking, you need to use her passive wisely for maximum damage. Practice is key because once enemies figure out your movements, they can counter with their own blinking skills. Be cautious of the short delay in her skills; if enemies catch you with crowd control during this time, you’re in trouble. She’s quite fragile like other assassins, so having a tank in front during ganks is crucial, and don’t be too aggressive. Early-game item building is vital, as a significant part of her damage relies on item passives. Choosing and using items wisely will help unleash Benedetta’s full power in battles.
