Just after the announcement of Need For Speed Mobile hitting a global launch this Fall of 2024, the game has officially opened pre-registrations for both Android and iOS platforms in select regions including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Need For Speed Mobile aims to recreate the magic of the legendary IP
I’m pretty sure this franchise needs no introduction, as it brings the fantastic hot pursuit action mobile with Need for Speed Mobile, which is an open-world racer set in the lovely Hot Bay. After the rumors floated that TiMi Studios and EA were working on a NFS game, the game was announced to be released in China which was followed by a private closed beta in the region.
Since it’s an open world, you drive wherever you want and race in both single and multiplayer modes. The game includes classic hot pursuits in 40-player races, where you can choose to be a racer gaining popularity or a member of the pursuit team chasing down offenders, and there are also talks of an original storyline coming as well.
This game has a lineup of 150 supercars of Lamborghini, Porsche, and Ferrari to name a few which can be customized with modifications you want. There are real weather changes, both day and night which cycles round out dynamic environments that you can experience in more than 30 tracks making it an exciting thrill for you, the details of which we have already shared in our initial impressions article after watching the leaked gameplay footage.

Now, if you are from Hong Kong or Taiwan, you can head to the official stores for your Android and iOS devices, which are Google Play Store and App Store respectively. For more details, the official site is active, which you can check for updates. For these regions, Garena is publishing the game.
What caught my attention was that according to the iOS store listing, Need For Speed Mobile is expected to launch on September 12, 2024. If we consider fall months of the year, it falls between September and December. So, I guess this might be accurate, although the official announcement is still waiting.
