Back in June 2020, the Pokemon Company announced Pokemon Unite, a 5 v 5 Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game made in partnership with Tencent’s Timi Studios, the team behind Call Of Duty Mobile. The game was still in development and the release date of the game was not announced. But if the latest rumors are to be believed, then finally the Pokemon Unite game is expected to have a release date in June 2021. However, we all have to wait until the official announcements are made as this is still in a rumor stage.
Pokemon Unite might finally get a release date in June 2021
On May 16th, 2021, Kelios, via his official Twitter account, replied to a tweet where he predicted the release date of Pokemon Unite. In the past, he has correctly predicted the announcement of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remake and also posted videos of the games before their official release. This is the reason it is strongly being believed that this time also the prediction will be true.
Considering KeliosFR said that Pokémon Unite’s release date would be announced early in June, it’s likely that this coincides with the E3 Expo 2021 to be held soon. However, keep in mind however that this is just a rumor and there’s a probability that the release date might not be finally revealed at E3 Expo 2021. There can be no telling until there’s an official announcement.
Try out the Regional Beta in the meantime
Back in February, Pokemon Unite had started a regional beta test for the game for a limited time. Until the game releases finally, you can try out the regional beta for yourself if the beta opens again. A thing to note is that the game is already in Regional Beta for Android in Canada. So the game is pretty much finished up and should release soon.
Moreover, even if you are not a Canadian resident, you can try out the Regional Beta for Pokemon Unite being in any country when it starts again. That being said, while there’s not any concrete evidence yet pointing to a release date being finalized in June 2021, this is one of the best leads available as of now.
