Game For Peace, the Chinese version of the popular mobile battle royale game PUBG Mobile is always ahead of the global version when it comes to new features. Well, no gifts for guessing what’s new, as Game For Peace has announced a new 24v24 game mode. Titled Exciting Battlefield, this exciting new mode will make its debut in the Chinese version on July 23, 2024.
I believe the title makes it clear what is coming with this game, but let me give you an overview. In the official announcement shared by the makers, the video gives a good glimpse of what to expect.
The 24v24 game mode will have heavy helicopters and tanks introduced in Game For Peace
About the gameplay, each team will consist of 24 players, totaling 48 players in a single match. What we have in PUBG Mobile is 8v8 mode at max, so this is a huge change. The mode will likely take place on a specially designed map that can accommodate large teams and players, and of course, intense combat since there are tanks and missiles in action.
Yes, it has been confirmed that four major arms will be available for selection, and for the first time, heavy helicopters and tanks will be introduced in Game of Peace too, so that’s fantastic news for the players. As seen in the video, the map will feature strategic points, which might be divided between A, B, and C points, alongside various terrains that can be marked as points of battle.
I also think this might bring specific objectives into play that you, along with your team, such as capturing key points, defending territories, or achieving certain goals/missions within the time limit provided. I won’t be surprised if they add individual objectives as well to monitor your progress. Also, the match length might not be fixed, focusing instead on eliminating the opposing team to secure victory.
The Chinese version is always one step ahead compared to the global version given how they introduce new features. Previously, they had introduced several new “firsts“ in the PUBG franchise, including the revamped version of the classic Erangel with its 2.0 map, the self-revival kit, another holiday-themed map called Resort Island, and even the popular Payload Mode.
With the launch of the new mode on the 23rd of this month, I believe they will see the reception this mode gets, and then get it launched for global. For now, no news surrounding the same, but expect me to put forward the news once it is announced.
