- The App Store listing suggest a June 18, 2026 launch window.
Netmarble has opened global pre-registration for their sci-fi MMORPG, RF ONLINE NEXT, on both Android and iOS. First showcased at the G-STAR 2023 event, this sequel to the 2004 hit soft-launched on both mobile and PC in select Asian regions like South Korea in March 2025.
Get ready to dive into massive battles and switch classes seamlessly
If you’re still unaware, RF ONLINE NEXT is an MMORPG built on the classic RF Online IP, but it pushes large-scale combat much further. While the deep character customization is really great, I also like the biosuits, which let you switch between seven diverse classes without losing progress in PvP battles.

Now, with a planet-level threat looming, you obviously don’t have to face it alone. You can call in massive mechs like Launcher or MAU to break through enemy defenses. But I’m eager to use the sacred weapon, Animus, in the large-scale World Boss Raids, to witness its devastating powers.
Now, I already said the game is promising, and the early positive ratings in soft launch regions prove my point. I mean, the content is really great as you’re getting the iconic three-faction system, stunning visuals, cross-platform play, massive 450-player faction battles, exploration, and more.
RF ONLINE NEXT is now open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS globally. So, you can pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. We can expect the game to release on June 18, 2026, based on the App Store’s listing. Meanwhile, you can also check out our interview with the Project Director.
