Players involved in illegal activities will face 10 years ban and removal of accounts from ranking
The announcement states that the game will punish players who use cheats to obtain in-game resources illegally and also the players who use cheats in different game modes, such as Bygone Phantasm with a 10-year account ban.
The developers will also remove these accounts from the ranking after the release of version update 1.5. As of September 7th, Tower of Fantasy has banned 3371 accounts. The developers assured they will fight this long-term battle against cheating and request the cooperation of players in reporting cheating and abuses.
Tower of Fantasy, is the latest gacha title developed by Hotta studios and published by Level Infinite. The game was initially available for the China region only, but after massive popularity, the game went into closed beta testing and finally, stepped onto the global stage this August.
