KRAFTON will present its latest open-world life simulation title, Dinkum Mobile, at the G-STAR exhibition. The game is based on the hit PC title, Dinkum created by James Bendon. KRAFTON is also celebrating its 8th consecutive year of participation by taking part in the international game exhibition G-STAR 2024 at BEXCO, Busan from November 14th to 17th.
Prepare to start a new fair Dinkum life in the wild Australian outback with KRAFTON’s Dinkum Mobile
First and foremost, “Dinkum” is an Australian slang that means genuine or authentic and it’s often used with the word, fair. Dinkum Mobile is an open-world life simulation title based on the IP of the popular PC game, Dinkum, created by Australian solo game developer, James Bendon. 5minlab, one of the creative studios of KRAFTON is currently developing the mobile version of Dinkum.
In Dinkum Mobile, you can explore tropical eucalyptus forests, endure blazing deserts, relax at cool billabongs, and discover scrublands filled with cute wildlife inspired by Australia. You can also gather valuable resources by hunting, mining, fishing, and foraging, which in turn lets you expand and customize your town helping you attract new townfolks and businesses.
Although Dinkum Mobile shares a similar formula to Animal Crossing, it features many changes that set it apart from Animal Crossing and similar titles. You will find more options to interact more actively in this game. KRAFTON discussed its plans for Dinkum Mobile initially in last January’s KRAFTON LIVE TALK (KLT) along with 19 other games that are currently in its pipeline.
You can check out the PC version to get an idea of what to expect. Since its release in 2022, Dinkum has sold over 1 million copies of the game and has gained lots of fans worldwide. If Dinkum Mobile has caught your attention, stay tuned here for more updates.
