Arena of Valor has ended the grand event of its esports scene in 2023. The Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2023 is over with Talon Esports becoming the grand champion. Defeating Valencia CF eSports in the grand finals by a scoreline of 4-2 has made them the owner of the trophy. Besides winning the champion title, the team has made $200,000 in their pocket.
Before the Grand Finals, the esports event started on the 30th of November 2023, and came to an end on the 24th of December. A total of 12 participants fought for the champion trophy, along with a share of the prize money. The offline event took place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
AIC 2023 champion Talon did not lose a single match in the event
After the end of the group stage, Talon moved to the Knockout stage being the Group B champion. Defeating Bacon Time in the upper bracket quarterfinals, the team moved to the upper bracket semi where Flash Wolves was waiting to greet the team. Talon managed to save the win after losing three rounds in a row, the scoreline was 4-3.
However, the runner-up Valencia CF eSports was the barrier to reaching the finals. A 4-2 scoreline has put them in the finals while Valencia had to go down to the lower bracket final to face Flash Wolves.
Again in the grand finals, the two teams from the upper bracket met. Repeating the same as what happened in the upper bracket, Valencia took the first two rounds. But the next four matches were dominated thoroughly by the AIC 2023 champion and the match ended with a 4-2 scoreline.
The champion gathered a huge amount to put into their pocket
Unlike previous editions, this Arena of Valor International Championship (AIC) 2023 has a decreased prize pool of $500,000. Before, it was three times higher which is $1,685,000. However, after the end of the event, the participants shared the amount as given below.

Talon Esports was the winner of the RoV Pro League (RPL) 2023 Winter after defeating Bacon Time in the grand finals by a scoreline of 4-2. As the event is over now, the next big event is already waiting to end as well. KIC 2023 is rolling currently and will end on the 30th of December. Thus, fans get to witness another big event before the year ends.
