A new season of Clash Royale is live now and with that comes yet another event to play, this time featuring the Elite Barbarians. With the recent Season 48 updates and balance changes, it is necessary to look for some good deck picks for which we will discuss some of the best decks you can use for the EBarb Rush challenge in Clash Royale.
Best Decks for EBarb Rush Challenge
Players who are familiar with this before might know, but for others, we shall explain. Here, Elite Barbarians will keep spawning at regular intervals, which will increase after a minute. You may even have three barbarians coming to destroy you at some time too!
Planning a correct deck to utilize the strengths of your spawning barbs as well as countering the ones approaching is important. So, here are our top three recommended deck options in no particular order followed.
1. Wizard, Giant Skeleton, Dark Prince, Guards, Sparky, Bats, Arrow, Zap
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
Starting our suggestion with a basic yet troubling deck for your opponents. Guard, Dark Prince, and Sparky are great counters to the Elite Barbarians, whereas the first two have that extra shield to keep the barbarians troubled.
Bats, Arrow, and Zap are needed for the opponent spells, say Skeleton Amry to counter your troops. Giant Skeleton and Wizard combo is tank plus high damage, which is once again a decent pick to opt for.
2. Mega Knight, Tombstone, Skeleton Army, Princess, Bomber, Electro Wizard, Bats, Arrows
Average Elixir Cost: 3.4
This is a defensive deck, and suggesting this would be for stopping hard pushes while getting a good counter push from your end. The lack of spells is separated by Tombstone offering great value for the sunken elixir cost.
Mega Knight is a great card for any kind of deck, and having a heavy HP troop might be important for this event. Princess and Bomber are good baits for the Log and Arrow while having Electro Wizard will be an added advantage at any given point.
3. Rocket, Bowler, Skeleton Army, PEKKA, Rage, Zap, Dark Prince, Ice Spirit
Average Elixir Cost: 3.8
Balanced across all the areas, we have the Bowler who is effective for pushing the Elite Barbarians back and setting up a counterattack. PEKKA and Dark Prince work well as paired cards, as they are heavy hitters and can be great for a counter-push.
Zap is primarily used to support the counter-push by clearing swarms after the Elite Barbarians are eliminated, especially during the 2 or 3 swarms. You can use Rage anytime, be it counter-pushing or defense by providing a speed boost
Final Thoughts
Although the event had already taken place, it doesn’t constitute a new event. It appears that the developers might be running out of fresh ideas like the previous challenge, but regardless, participating in these recurring events is quite enjoyable.
Coming to the decks, they may not always work for every player, but when the cards are played correctly, tested and proven decks always work in your favor. Please provide any further deck recommendations in the comments. You may also see our other deck recommendations here.
