It’s that time of year again, Winter is here, and Christmas is around the corner but alas Freeze has not arrived in FC Mobile. Instead, it’s Winter Wildcards from EA Sports! But, if you want tons of Gems, Players, Coins, and other in-game Resources then this just might be the event for you! Get ready for the hustle and bustle of winter by unwrapping Winter Wildcards in this FC Mobile 24 event guide.
Play daily Skill Games and Matches, earn rewards on the Master Road, hone your skills in Weekly Training, compete in the weekend Challenge mode, complete Exchanges, and keep an eye out on the Store for the Winter Sales!

FC Mobile 24 Winter Wildcards Event Flow
Winter Wildcards
In the Training Plan, you will play a series of three Skill Games and two Matches Daily to earn Gems, Winter Wildcards Tokens, and Star Pass Points every day along with an 80-92 OVR Player. Winter Wildcards Tokens are the main currency in the event. Get into the holiday spirit and earn Winter Wildcards Tokens by playing weekly Skill Games and Matches in the Daily Adventures. Complete all games on the main path to claim a daily 80-92 OVR Mixed Version Player.
There are additional Matches and Ads as well to watch for Gems. Tons of Gems are on offer from this one event itself if you are currently short of that. Earn additional Tokens from the Daily Supply and Ad Node. If you’re in the mood for an additional challenge, then check out the 3-star Skill Game and Match to earn Gems and Star Pass Credit.
Although there are additional Weekly and Event-Specific Quests, they don’t hand out any Winter Wildcard Tokens and are good for more Coins and Gems. There is a Premium Winter Wildcards Logo, a Throw Snowball Emote, an 85-92 OVR Winter Wildcards Player, and Universal Rank Player – Mascherano up for grabs as well but you can’t get any Tokens from the Quests.
Holiday Gifts
Since Winter is the season of Gifts, therefore you will log in and claim Free Rewards giving away free in-game resources and Coins! During the holidays you’ll find Gifts that unlock on certain days to help you get into the holiday spirit! The Celebration Gift will be available at the release of Winter Wildcards. The Christmas Eve Gift unlocks on the 24th and claim the New Year gift on January 1st.
Master Road
This is a new component in FC Mobile, that we haven’t seen before. This is a board, more like a Monopoly Board with pieces moving on. Right there in the middle you will be using your hard-earned Winter Wildcard Tokens (10 a piece) you hit the Go button and it spins the Dice, it shows you what your number is and moves your Winter Wildcard Token to a number and you are going to get the particular Reward from that path.
The Master road is a path consisting of 20 squares filled with rewards. The gold squares contain distinct rewards that include Winter Wildcards Players, including a 91 OVR ST Gary Lineker! Press on GO! to use your Winter Wildcard Tokens and to start your journey on the Master Road. You’ll be given a number between 1 and 6, which corresponds to the amount of squares you’ll move clockwise on the Master Road.
After you go around the Board Four Times, there is a special Reward of 85-95 OVR Winter Wildcards Players for every four times you pull through. But beware depending on the Luck EA puts you through mostly you will be packing Elites for doing Exchanges!
Master Road Milestones
The Milestones, located on the right-hand side of the Master Road offer Winter Wildcard players (all-untradable) ranging from 88-92 OVR along with Universal Rank Players (both Dudek and Mascherano included). Again since the players are untradable, we will make the boring suggestion of going with the Universal Rank Players as they will be more helpful in the long run!
For each lap that you’ve completed around the Master Road, you’ll earn progress towards the Milestones. The Milestone Rewards include specific Winter Wildcards Player Items, Universal Rank Players, and Coins. You can only pick one of three options per Milestone set.
Since the Master Road or Path requires only 10 Points a piece to make a move therefore you will be getting plenty of opportunities throughout the event. This is also a major drawback of the event since there is a provision to exchange old Rivals Points for Winter Wildcards Tokens.
And if you played all your Rivals matches, then you probably have had a lot of them brought forward to this event. Have you exchanged that by now, this entire path and the Milestones following it should probably be done within the first two days of the event!
Weekly Training
Next, we go to the Weekly Training where each week a new tab is going to unlock giving you a chance for an 88 OVR Winter Wildcards Player (Untradable). To get the Player, you need to go to his tab and there are a lot of Skill Games and Matches giving you a bunch of rewards and resources.
The Skill Games and Matches are available throughout the event and of course, can be finished anytime between the next five weeks with each new Tab and Player unlocking each week. There’s a decent amount of Skill Games and Matches to go there divided into three paths: Easy, Medium, and Hard with each path offering either the 88 OVR Winter Wildcards Player itself, Universal Rank Player – Dudek, and an 80-92 OVR Player and Gems!
Each week a new path with Skill Games and Matches unlocks in Winter Training. Hone your skills and earn rewards by completing the main path. There will be optional side paths available to earn additional rewards. Complete all five Weekly Training sections to earn Festive Kits to stand out on the pitch! There is a special Quest that unlocks once you unlock the Festive Sweater Kit that gives out even more Gems upon completing it!
Gallery
Next over here on the Gallery Tab, we see Team A, B, C, and D. These are the sets of players that are available in Packs, and if your Luck is great on the Master Road, of course, each team unlocks and arrives every week. New Players will be available weekly in Winter Wildcards! Head over to the Gallery to find all Player Items that were added that week.
Challenge Mode
Well since this is not a mini-event, there will be a Challenge Mode as well! There will be both Daily and Weekend-special Challenge modes that hand out Players, Gems, and Coins. Since there are no H2H or Division Rivals matches involved, therefore it should be fairly easy to win.
Get ready for the Winter Wildcards Challenge Mode to earn great rewards! There will be a daily Challenge Mode consisting of Skill Games and Matches to earn Coins, Players, and Gems. In addition, there will be a Winter Wildcards Weekend Challenge where you compete in PVE matches to earn up to 88-95 OVR Mixed Version Players.
Star Pass
Of course, the Star Pass is running simultaneously with the event. There are in-game resources present in the Star Pass. Complete Quests throughout the event to earn Star Pass progress, which includes rewards such as Coins, Gems, FC Points, and other Cosmetic Items including Emotes and Kits.
Don’t forget to check out the newest Winter Wildcards-themed Star Pass that is available at launch, including a 92 OVR RW Ousmane Dembélé. So don’t forget your daily quests to progress through the Star Pass! Earning Star Pass Credits will unlock more rewards along the Star Pass path. There are two tiers to the Star Pass: free and premium. You can also use FC Points to move faster through Star Pass levels and collect rewards faster.

Since the Challenge Mode does not give out Winter Wildcard Tokens, therefore further tokens can’t be obtained from there. But if you have extra Rivals Tokens from the past you can trade them at an Exchange Rate of 3x Rivals Tokens for 5x Winter Wildcards Tokens with a total of 100 times ie 300 Rivals Tokens for 1500 Winter Wildcard Tokens. If we keep that aside, then from simply playing the event, one can easily accumulate a total of:

FC Mobile 24 Winter Wildcards Event Tips and Tricks
Winter Wildcards has a little amount of grind, with daily skill games and matches to play in FC Mobile 24. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.

With each Dice roll on the Master Road requiring 10 Winter Wildcard Tokens, and each Lap taking anywhere from 6-12 Dice Rolls, 60-120 Winter Wildcard Tokens will be needed to complete one single Lap on the Master Road. From the above calculations we can see, that there is a total of 1050 Winter Wildcard Tokens up for grabs just from the event itself.
But hey, there is no reason to panic, you can trade in your Rivals Points for extra Winter Wildcard Tokens and you will have more than enough Winter Wildcard Tokens to complete the Master Road. As we said earlier, if you exchange your Rivals Points and exploit the game’s failed mechanic then the event can be completed on Day 1 itself. If you are a player who likes to open packs and wants to open a lot of Packs and get rewards on Day 1, then this event is going to be fantastic, but within the first week, you will be done with this and feel bored.
Weekly Training
Probably, the only saving grace from this event is that allows you to come and play something every week. Since each tab unlocks every week and all of this is present throughout the event, therefore all the Rewards that you see here are achievable free-to-play. Therefore the Weekly Training, you are going to unlock:
- 88 OVR ST Ollie Watkins
- 88 OVR RW Nestroy Irankunda
- 88 OVR CM Joey Veerman
- 88 OVR CAM Takefusa Kubo
- 88 OVR CB Ethan Pinnock
Along with the above list of untradeable 88 OVRs, everyone who completes the chapter will receive a total of 5x Universal Rank Player – Dudeks and 3750 Gems.
FC Mobile 24 Winter Wildcards Event Players
That’s it the Winter Wildcards Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
The problem here is that this is the time of the year that we normally have engaging events such as Football Freeze which we’ve had in years past. If anyone remembers Freeze from years past, it was an event that used to have to log in hourly every 6 hours or every 12 hours to claim Rewards. There were Gifts, Candy Canes, Choices, events with Different directions and Rewards. Freeze was an event that lasted all of December right through to Team of the Year and was very involving.
Football Freeze was perhaps the most engaging event in the final month and got everyone pumped up and excited for the big TOTY that is there to come next. But it’s not happening this time, this event, Winter Wildcards is way too frustrating, to say the least, and perhaps the worst event EA has thrown at us yet. This is certainly not what we expected and this should not be acceptable at all. Something needs to change and perhaps sooner than later!
