April brings the Songkran new year, and EA Sports joins the party as well, bringing a new mini-event in FC Mobile! Amidst Pitch Beats, UCL Road to the Final, and the LA LIGA Fan events, EA introduces the Songkran Splash event in FC Mobile 25, celebrating the Thai New Year!
Dive into Songkran with a new event! Celebrate this traditional festival from Thailand and make a splash with Player Items from the Premier League, Icon, and Heroes! Use Songkran Tickets and test your skills in PvE and PvP matches to earn rewards. Spend your Tokens to earn Rewards and advance in a Milestone.

FC Mobile 25 Songkran Splash Event Flow
Main
First things first, Songkran Splash is a mini-event. Following the footsteps of previous events, including Dia De Muertos and Sunshine Ballers, it is just daily PvP matches. Each day, you will log in and come to the Main Tab and claim three Songkran Tickets to play either a PvE-based AI Match or any of the PvP-based VSA, H2H matches to earn Songkran Tokens and Songkran Pass Credits in the Water Collecting.
As expected, the amount of Tokens rewarded varies between the PvE and PvP matches, with the PvP matches awarding more Tokens. Claim Songkran Tickets to play matches and earn Songkran Tokens. Additionally, you can claim the special Songkran Kit and receive a login reward before kicking off the event.
Next, you will be spending your hard-earned Songkran Tokens in the Water Spray section. You will be using your Songkran Tokens in the boxes on the right-hand side of the Water Collecting section. Open the boxes in the board to receive Players, Songkran Splash event Players, Training Transfer Tokens, Gems, Coins, and even Universal Rank Player – Mascherano.
Spend Songkran Tokens to unlock rewards on the right. Enter the next round after claiming all the rewards. There’s Milestone Rewards as well on the further right-hand side that you can unlock after claiming all the rewards from the box in the 1st round of Water Spray.
The Milestone Rewards include three 104 OVR Songkran Splash Players and 200 Songkran Shards, with the Players including three Premier League footballers of 104 OVR ST Danny Welbeck, 104 OVR CAM Bruno Fernandes, and 104 OVR CB Jarrad Branthwaite.
Remember, you can only claim the Milestone Rewards after completing the Water Spray board once. As far as the Players go, all three of them, whoever you claim, are untradeable. So if you aren’t a fan of the player himself, it’s needless to say the free 200 Songkran Shards will be yours and everyone’s pick!

Next over here in the final Gallery Tab, whereas in past events, all the event-exclusive players are displayed. But this time, there’s a twist, similar to recent events, these players are not only available in Packs where you can avail them, provided your luck is great, but you can also get them in exchange for a new currency, Songkran Shards.
There are three sets of players, with the players ranging from 104-107 OVR, and all of them are untradeable. Provided that the amount of Shards you accumulate over the event, you can get them. Exchange extra Songkran Splash Players for Songkran Shards.
Given that the Pitch Beats event offered some high-rated players, these players may seem less lucrative; however, if you are targeting any of the 107 OVR Icons or Players, then don’t have second thoughts, they are certainly worth your Gems. Head over to the Gallery to find all the Players that were added that week.
There is a Songkran Shard Exchange as well on the further right-hand side where you can exchange your Songkran Splash event Players should you manage to pull any for Songkran Shards. Therefore, Songkran Shards can be earned through player exchange and used to exchange for specific players. In return, you can exchange Songkran Splash event Players for Songkran Shards.
The exchanges are very interesting and involve trading in Songkran Splash event Players solely for Songkran Shards. So from the below image, if you exchange a 105 OVR Songkran Splash event Player tradeable or untradeable that you don’t find suitable for your squad, you will get 120 Songkran Shards back, which you can later utilize to get a player suitable for your team.
Do note that you can perform the above exchanges, and you can get Songkran Splash event players either from the Market or by buying the Gem Pack offers from the Store for 2500-3000 Gems. But do remember that whichever player you are targeting from the event will be untradeable, and you can’t sell it in the market for a profit.
Songkran Pass
Similar to all the mini-events, there’s an event-specific Pass for Songkran as well. You need to complete the Water Collecting PvE and PvP Matches from the Main Tab to gain the Songkran Pass Credits and progress through the Songkran Pass. There are two sides to the Pass, with, of course, the Paid Pass being more lucrative than the Free one.
There are also in-game resources for the event present in the Songkran Pass. Gain progress through the Songkran Pass and earn Songkran Splash Players, Universal Rank Players, FC Points, Gems, Training Transfer Points, Coins, and the Songkran Star Pass special player pre-ranked 109 OVR RW Pedro Neto!

Songkran Tokens
- Earn them by completing the Water Collecting PvE and PvP Matches from the Main tab
- Use them to claim the Water Spray Rewards in the Main tab
Songkran Shards
- Earn them by exchanging Songkran event players from the in-game Store or the Main tab
- Collect them to claim Songkran event players or Rewards in the Gallery tab
Songkran Pass Credits
- Earn them by completing the Water Collecting PvE and PvP Matches from the Main tab
- Spend them to progress through the Songkran Pass
Running the Math for F2P Players
As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players.

FC Mobile 25 Songkran Splash Event Guide
Songkran Splash has a fair amount of grind to play in FC Mobile 25. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything, so let’s explain it here.
Now, tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.

From the above, we can understand that, should you go for any of the higher-rated Songkran Splash Players, you will fall short of the required Songkran Shards, given you can’t actually earn enough of them from playing the event.
Now to get the Shards, you will need to perform the Shard Exchanges, ie, trading in Songkran Splash event Players for Songkran Shards. The Tokens vary based on the Songkran Splash player OVR you exchange for.

Now we can see in the above table, you get 180 Songkran Splash Shards back for trading in a 106 OVR Songkran Splash Player; however, the same 106 OVR Songkran Splash Player, when claiming, requires a whopping 500-800 Songkran Shards.
Now, from the Calculations above, you can see that should you play the event throughout, you are gonna easily end with at least 200 Songkran Shards without performing any of the Shard Exchanges. To negate the difference, you can buy Songkran Splash event Players from the market as well and utilize them in Shard Exchanges.
However, should you decide to spend Gems, two popular Packs offer a 102-107 OVR Songkran Splash untradeable event Player for 3000 Gems or a 99-107 OVR Songkran Splash untradeable event Player for 2500 Gems.
Although it sounds baffling why someone would do the exchange in the first place, should you get any low OVR Songkran Splash Players from the Gem Packs, Star Pass, or any of the four chapters, know that you can’t utilize them anywhere, so exchanging them for Shards is the logical way.
You can get your choice of 105-107 OVR Songkran Splash Players from the event provided you have adequate Gems
Given a decent 106 OVR Songkran Splash Player requires 500 Songkran Shards minimum, you will need around 60000 Gems, which is 20x of the 101-107 OVR Gem Packs with the worst possible luck. Similarly, for a 107 OVR Player, the amount of Gems required increases exponentially. The players look really solid and are end-game; therefore, make your decision wisely with the Gems you have in store.
Maximize your Mascherano from the event
There’s one thing the Songkran Splash event has brought in FC Mobile, ie, the Mascheranos, and there are plenty of them on offer. Coming to the Gallery tab, there are three Mascheranos up for grabs, should you aim for the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano instead of the Songkran Splash event Players or Training Transfer Points.
Finally, there are two Mascheranos available on the Free side of the Songkran Pass, adding the total to 5x Mascheranos given your choice throughout the event. In the end, Songkran Splash is a resource-intensive event. If you entirely ignore all the players it offers, there are still a handful of Coins and Gems on offer from the Parade Rewards and the Multi-Pass.
FC Mobile 25 Songkran Splash Event Players
That’s it, the FC Mobile 25 Songkran Splash event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will, and plan carefully. Basically, just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
It’s just stuff we haven’t seen before with some variations, that are much better versions of the mini-events than we have seen before. The event doesn’t solely depend on pack luck; you can proceed with a goal towards getting a player. Yes, you actually have a choice this time! It’s pretty decent!
