How to Unlock Multiplayer in Neverness to Everness
Multiplayer unlocks naturally as you progress through the early game. At first, complete the tutorial quest, then increase your Hunter level to 8, and your Multiplayer mode will open automatically.

Once unlocked, the multiplayer option becomes available in your in-game phone. There’s no special quest required; just keep playing, and the feature will open up automatically.
How to Play Co-op with your Friends and Other Players
Follow these steps to start playing with your friends or other players:
- Reach Hunter Level 8: This unlocks multiplayer mode and adds friends’ access to the in-game phone system.
- Open the In-Game Phone: It appears on the right side of your screen, which contains multiple menu options.
- Go to Multiplayer Menu: Navigate to Page 2 and tap the Multiplayer button (next to the Tutorial option).
- Search for Your Friend: A search bar appears at the top. Enter your friend’s UID.
- Send Invite: Once your friend appears in search results, send them an invite to join your world or request access to theirs.
- Start Playing Together: Once they accept, they’ll join your world, or you can join theirs.

Note that at this moment, because of a bug, we can’t find any player in Multiplayer mode, but don’t worry, once the bug is fixed, we can join other players’ worlds.
Everything you can do in Neverness to Everness Multiplayer Mode
Even though the system is limited, there are still plenty of things to do.
Drive and Explore together
At this moment, we can ride in cars with our friends and explore the city freely. Just chill and roam around with your friends.
Cause chaos without consequences
In multiplayer mode, we can steal cars from NPCs and destroy public property, but no police will chase us. This turns co-op into a fun sandbox mode where you can mess around without penalties. At this moment, we don’t know if it is a feature or just a bug.
Limitations of Neverness to Everness Multiplayer Mode
These are some things we can’t do in multiplayer mode:
- At this moment, we can race with our friends.
- Completing Anomaly Hunting Commissions is impossible in multiplayer mode.
- We can’t complete the mission in this mode.
Basically, multiplayer is more about fun interaction than progression.
Final Thoughts
The multiplayer system in Neverness to Everness is still in its early stages, focusing more on social interaction and sandbox fun rather than deep co-op gameplay. While you can’t yet complete missions or race with friends, the ability to explore, drive, and cause chaos together already makes it an enjoyable feature.
As the game evolves, we can expect the developers to expand multiplayer with more meaningful co-op activities. For now, treat it as a fun break from solo grinding and maybe a chance to create some hilarious moments with your friends.
