Clash of Clans Mashup Mania October 2024 event overview
The Mashup Mania event is scheduled to run from October 11th to October 31st, 2024. Over these days, players can progress through the event track to unlock a variety of rewards. Now, one of the most interesting parts of this event is we are getting not one or two, but five limited-edition troops to enjoy!
When you log in, you are greeted by the Gothic Apprentice Builder, who introduces the event by finding a haunted statue. In the following sections of the article, I’ll detail the specific rewards you can earn, providing a comprehensive overview of what awaits you.
Event Progression
In this event, your task is to raid other villagers, collect Sour Elixir, and use it to unlock troops and earn Mashup Medals, which you can trade in the Trader Shop. There is also the Dragon Head Statue in the home village, which you can use to collect Sour Elixir daily, with 100 available at the start of the event.
Earn medals from collecting Sour Elixir in battles. Each attack offers up to 300 Sour Elixir, which will be placed in three random buildings. Using these, you can progress to earn medals throughout the event. Players in Legends League get a 15% bonus due to attack limits, making it 345 Sour Elixir.
That’s not it, this number will scale up as the event progresses. This means the next attack you do will give you that extra Sour Elixir you can collect. This helps you to progress quickly towards the end of the event.
Event Troops
Five event troops will be part of this event. They are all unlockable with the help of Sour Elixir.

Event Rewards
As part of the event, one of the standout rewards will be the Lavaloon Puppet is a permanent epic equipment for the Grand Warden that spawns the limited-edition Lava Loon troop. With just 3,100 medals needed, it is no doubt a highly recommended purchase early in the event.
If you’re playing free-to-play, aim to earn up to 3,750 medals through regular event progression. However, if you’ve purchased the event pass, you’ll gain a bonus of 5,500 medals, which can be spent on exclusive decorations like the Bubble Boil Cauldron and Jailbroken Box, or used to acquire Ores for your Hero Equipment upgrades.
As mentioned earlier, the Mashup Mania event runs until the end of October, with the Trader Shop staying open until November 3rd, 2024.
