The COD Mobile Season 8, which also marks the 2nd Anniversary of the game has brought in a lot of content to the game. So far, the new Battle Royale map – Blackout, some new guns, and other content have been added and the latest addition to the game is a new perk. The Iron Lungs perk in Call Of Duty Mobile helps you hold in your breath for longer while sniping to delay sniper sway. The Iron Lungs perk has been something that the community has asked for in the past and is now available in COD Mobile, in the Steady Breath Seasonal Event for free.
How to unlock Iron Lungs perk in COD Mobile
Players will be able to unlock the Iron Lungs perk in the game by completing the Steady Breath Seasonal Challenge. Players will receive the perk after completing the first 5 tasks of the event. Moreover, players can earn a bunch of other rewards as well just like in other Seasonal challenges. This seasonal challenge comprises multiple steps needed to be completed to grind and unlock the Iron Lungs perk for your loadout.
- Play 5 MP matches– 300 Credits, 1000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 7 Enemies with any Sniper Rifle Equipped– 15 Weapons XP Cards, 1000 Battle Pass XP
- Earn the Long Shot Medal 10 times in MP Matches– 2x Anniversary Badge, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Earn the One Shot, One Kill Medal 15 Times in MP Matches– SKS-Bullet Metal, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 10 Enemies with any Sniper Rifle Equipped with the Agile Perk– Sticker of Screech, 3000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 25 Enemies with any Sniper Equipped with 5 attachments– Iron Lungs Perk, 3000 Battle Pass XP.
- Kill 25 Enemies with the Iron Lung Perk Equipped– S36-Indomitable, 4000 Battle Pass XP
The tasks have to be carried out in chronological order for them to count and the final task is a bonus task you can complete for an additional reward.
How to equip Martyrdom perk in the loadout
Once the Iron Lungs perk has been unlocked, it’s time to test it out and to do so, players have to equip it. Follow the below-given steps to do that very thing and use the perk.
- Head to the main screen upon entering the game.
- Located at the bottom, click on “Loadout” to see your loadout. You have to add this perk to a loadout with a sniper rifle to actually use it.
- The Perk section is under the Operator Skills. There’s three slots but the Iron Lungs Perk can only be equipped in the first slot from the left, i.e, the Red Perk. Click on that and then scroll to the right and click on the Iron Lungs Perk.
- So now click on Equip to finish equipping the perk.
