Genshin Impact “All Senses Clear, All Existence Void” Version 3.3 Phase II: Character and Weapon Banners

New banners for the Version 3.3 Update!

Phase II banners of Genshin Impact version 3.3 will go live on 27th December 2022 at 18:00 (UTC+8). The banners will be available till 14:59 (UTC+8) on 17th January 2023.

Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Phase II First Character Banner: Reign of Serenity

This is the second rerun of the Electro Archon, “Plane of Euthymia” Raiden Shogun (electro/polearm). Raiden Shogun is a fantastic support that can turn into an on-field DPS for 7s during her burst mode. Her primary utility is to solve the energy issues of her teammates, as well as buffing the DMG of their bursts, but with higher constellations, she becomes viable to be built as a hypercarry main DPS.

Raiden Shogun will be accompanied by “Thorny Benevolence” Rosaria (cryo/polearm), “Mujina Ninja” Sayu (anemo/claymore), and “Crowfeather Kaburaya” Kujou Sara (electro/bow), all of whom will receive a huge drop-rate boost. All three of these 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Phase II Second Character Banner: Azure Excursion

This is the first rerun banner of “Pillar of Fortitude” Kamisato Ayato (hydro/sword) since his release all the way back in version 2.6. Ayato excels at providing both on-field and off-field hydro application through his elemental skill and burst respectively.

All three of these 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.

Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Phase II Weapon Banner: Epitome Invocation

The weapon banners feature the reruns of Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato’s signature best-in-slot weapons, Engulfing Lightning (polearm) and Haran Geppaku Futsu (sword) respectively.

This banner features the event-exclusive 4* weapons Akuoumaru (claymore) and Mouun’s Moon (bow) as well as the 4* weapons “Lion’s Roar” (sword), “Favonius Lance” (polearm), “Sacrificial Fragments” (catalyst). It does not debut any new 4* weapons. All of them will receive a huge drop rate boost.

“Lion’s Roar” (sword), “Favonius Lance” (polearm), and “Sacrificial Fragments” (catalyst) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates. Akuoumaru (claymore) and Mouun’s Moon (bow) will not be available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation.

Final Thoughts

It is not an exaggeration to say that Raiden Shogun is the best electro character in Genshin Impact. She provides the excellent utility of solving most of the energy needs of her teammates. Her skill sends a joint Electro attack whenever enemies take DMG, which allows her to do extra DMG with Electro reactions. Her burst is the most important part of her kit. It simultaneously turns her into an on-field DPS as well as provides the utility of a team battery. She enables energy-hungry characters to comfortably cast their bursts as well as providing her own personal DMG.

Raiden Shogun’s early constellations are very much worth getting since she gains a massive DMG spike. However, constellations are not at all required for her to function as a battery, they are only needed if players wish to play her as a dedicated main DPS.

Kamisato Ayato is often compared with Tartaglia and people tend to argue for or against him. The truth is, the two of them have enough differences to make them stand on their own. Ayato has a pretty simple gameplay with amazing results, while Tartaglia has a rather complex gameplay that rewards skill expression.

Ayato does not punish players for messing up a tiny portion of the team rotation as Tartaglia does, but Tartaglia at C0 reaches a higher DMG ceiling with a perfect rotation compared to C0 Ayato. Ayato has a well-designed constellation tree where he gains a decent amount of DMG with every single one of his constellations. All of his constellations are worth getting, but none of them are required for him to function. He functions perfectly fine at C0, none of his abilities are locked behind constellations.

Among the 4* characters, C6 Kujou Sara is the one to look out for, if players wish to play Raiden Shogun as a hyper carry. Rosaria is an amazing Cryo support, so players who play Cryo DPS would benefit from obtaining her and her constellations.

Engulfing Lightning is the best-in-slot 5* weapon for Raiden Shogun. The Catch is also a really good weapon for Raiden, so f2p players must not feel tempted to pull for it. Haran Geppaku Futsu is the best-in-slot 5* weapon for Kamisato Ayato. It can be used on other characters who frequently use their elemental skill. These include Kaedehara Kazuha, Kamisato Ayaka, and Keqing.

The 4* bow Mouun’s Moon gives the wielder an elemental burst DMG bonus based on the total energy cost of the entire team. This weapon can be equipped on characters who rely on their burst to do DMG. These include Ganyu, Yelan, Tartaglia, and Venti. All of these characters have easily accessible 4* options, so players must not feel tempted to obtain this weapon. Akuoumaru also works the same way as Mouun’s Moon. it can be equipped on Beidou, Diluc, and Eula. All of these characters have easily accessible 4* options, so players must not feel tempted to obtain this weapon.
