Genshin Impact announced the arrival of the new character Shikanoin Heizou

Upcoming Anemo character to make his debut in the game soon!

Genshin Impact has finally announced the new character Shikanoin Heizou, who was rumoured to be playable for a while now. Hailing from Inazuma, Heizou works as a detective for the Tenryou Commission and is quite good at his job, and excels at every task given to him with his cunning mind. Heizou is under the direct command of Kujou Sara in the Tenryou Commission. He was first mentioned in Kamisato Ayaka‘s voice-line along with the other Inazuman characters such as Gorou and Thoma.

The character announcement doesn’t mention his rarity, but there are high chances that Heizou is going to be a four-star character. Since the anemo element is most commonly used for supporting abilities, he should also have the same in the form of either a buffer, healer, crowd control, or any other unique kit. An early leak suggests that Heizou might be a Catalyst user which will make him the first-ever male character to wield that weapon in the game to this point.

Heizou should be expected to arrive in the game with the Version 2.8 Update since Yelan and Kuki Shinobu are confirmed to make their debut in Version 2.7 Update. Moreover, the 3.0 version will welcome the release of the new region Sumeru. Therefore, he has to be released before the release of Sumeru.

Due to the lockdown in Shanghai, the game has not received the 2.7 version update as per schedule. Moreover, some upcoming operations for the game were also closed off temporarily. This announcement of the new characters was not expected at all, but still is an encouragement for players to wait for the quality updates.

What are your thoughts on Genshin Impact, who has announced the new character Heizou, in the near future?
