Mobile Legends ONE Esports MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2023 has completed its run and powerhouse RSG Philippines becomes the champion. The winner of the event picked up a clean sweep by a 3-1 scoreline to defeat the runner-up ECHO. Despite playing very well in the tournament, runner-up ECHO could not emerge as the champion as the final match changed the team’s calculation.
Winning the event has entitled a large amount of money to the champion. Organized by MOONTON Games and One Esports, ONE Esports MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2023 kicked off on the 15th of November 2023. The event was held offline and featured 16 teams.
The champions did not have a smooth run but had the last laugh
After the end of the group stage, the top 8 went for the playoffs. While the group champions went for the upper bracket semifinals directly, the runners-up had to play an extra round in the lower bracket. RSG lost their first match against AP.Bren by a 2-0 scoreline.
The defeat made the team go down to the lower bracket where See You Soon was waiting for them in the lower bracket. But a win against the team took the champion to the lower bracket semi and they defeated HomeBois by 2-0 to meet the championslayer AP.Bren.
The champion RSG made no mistake this time and took a 2-1 win to place themselves in the grand final. The other finalist, ECHO, was ready to greet them. The first two rounds went head to head but RSG took a quick turn in the next two rounds and picked up consecutive wins. Thus, the team became the crowned champion.
MPLI 2023 champion pocketed a whopping sum, Demonkite became the MVP
The event has a massive amount to share with the participants. A total of $100,000 was featured in the tournament. The champion team pocketed $37,000 while the runner-up grabbed a total of $19,000. Demonkite from the MPLI 2023 champion team was awarded an additional $1,000 for becoming the MVP of the event. The allocation of each team’s share after the end of the event is as follows.

Mobile Legends Bang Bang is soon to commence the biggest esports event of the title, the M5 World Championship 2023. Ahead of the event, a few teams gathered at GBK Basketball Hall, Jakarta to fight and showcase their strength. After successful completion, the event closed its veil on the 19th of November 2023.
