Game developers, thatgamecompany has announced a special collab for its heartwarming adventure title, Sky: Children of the Light with beloved Moomin characters created by Finnish writer and illustrator, Tove Jansson. Jenova Chen, the CEO, and Creative Director of thatgamecompany had previously announced this collaboration during the celebration of their 5th anniversary at Skyfest 2024.

Dive into the vast, whimsical world of magic and adventure with the twenty-third seasonal event, Season of Moomin, featuring an exciting new collaboration with the beloved Moomin characters.
Experience the transformative story of Ninny, the Invisible Child, as she confronts her fears, overcomes challenges, and gains wisdom. And the best part, in my opinion, is that each week you will get new chapters of Ninny’s story keeping you engaged and excited. I am eager to experience all the themes that her story will bring.
Enjoy new gameplay features and seasonal items filled with Moomin magic
In this new season, you can enjoy charming visuals and gameplay, along with three types of quests that will help you explore the Moomin stories in new ways. And let me not forget to mention that they are also adding a new forest landscape in Moominvalley.
The Moomin Storybook will serve as your guide this season, featuring a variety of fun activities for your Sky Child. You will also have the chance to unlock season-themed items, including outfits, capes, hairstyles, an instrument, and more, all inspired by Moomin characters.
I am excited to purchase outfit items inspired by Snufkin, the free-spirited wanderer and one of my favorite characters. You will also be able to buy other special collaboration items throughout the entire season.
