This post was last updated on

Famous video games publishers Ubisoft revealed in their ‘Ubisoft Forward’ event that Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad, the military role-playing real-time 5v5 multiplayer is finally making its way to mobile devices on August 27. Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad is now available for pre-registration on both Android & iOS platforms.

Ubisoft Forward’ was held a while ago, showcasing several upcoming releases from the Assassin’s Creed developers. And while most of the announcements mainly focused on console and PC games, Ubisoft did not leave out the mobile platform totally. Since the release of Assassin’s Creed rebellion on iOS and Android, Ubisoft haven’t really released any top-notch mobile game since then, and after revealing the release date of the long-anticipated Tom Clancy’s elite squad on mobile, it seems the wait is finally over.

About Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad

Mobile users have long been anticipating the release of the popular shooter, but Ubisoft kept the game in a closed Beta for a long time, before finally allowing worldwide pre-registration from today.

When the world faces an unknown threat, you have no choice but to disobey the rules in order to survive. You will be playing the role of the commander of an elite squad, controlling and recruiting the most iconic soldiers from the highly acclaimed Tom Clancy’s video game universe.

And for the first time, you will be able to team up with popular heroes and villains from other Tom Clancy’s video games such as The Division, Ghost Recon, Rainbox Six, Splinter Cell, H.A.W.X, EndWar and more.

How will be the gameplay of Elite Squad on mobile?

The game offers various types of battles and modes. You can lead real-time 5v5 PvP battles in different combat zones. You can also command your elite squad in a dynamic 5v5 bullets spreading battle and execute orders with precise timing while trying to defeat your opponents.

Interestingly, get to team up with some of the deadliest soldiers in the Tom Clancy stories including the likes of Nomad, Sam Fisher, Megan, Caveira, El Sueno, Walker, and a whole lot more, all under your command. You have to train and make them equipped them with upgraded weapons from assault rifles, knives etc.

That’s not all. You will also get to battle in the historic battlefields from Tom Clancy’s video games such as “Presidential plane” (Rainbow six siege), “Brooklyn Bridge” (The Division 1), and many others. The official gameplay trailer revealed in the Ubisoft Forward event shows more insights into the game:

Hi there! There isn't much to know about me, but if you must know, well, I write stuff, and apparently people read them. I'm an Eccentric writer. I write about a lot of stuff, and some of my writing can either cheer you up or piss you off. Either way, humans suck, and if you're reading this, try to suck less in this shit-stream called life.
