Brawl Stars Moe Guide: Moe’s Attacks

Moe’s Attack: Shovel Slinger

Moe’s primary attack, Shovel Slinger, involves throwing a rock that splits into smaller rocks upon reaching its maximum range or hitting a target. Each smaller rock then splits again, creating a cross pattern of projectiles. This attack can deal significant damage, especially at close range where multiple rocks can hit the same target.

The damage dealt by each rock and smaller rock is consistent, making Moe’s attack highly effective in both crowd control and single-target scenarios. The attack’s unique mechanics allow for strategic placement and timing to maximize damage output.

After his Super, his attack changes to Giga Drill Break in his transformed form. In this state, Moe drills in front of him, gaining increased movement speed and dealing more damage to enemies although the range is short.

Moe’s Super: Moe’s Machine

Moe’s Super, Moe’s Machine, allows him to drill underground towards a target location. During this time, Moe is invulnerable and deals damage to any enemies he passes through. Upon reaching his destination, Moe emerges in his alternate form, dealing additional damage and launching enemies into the air.

The Super’s damage is substantial. If you tap the Super again, called Bail Out he exits his Driller and returns to his normal form.

Tips for using Moe’s Super

  • Surprise Attacks: Utilize Moe’s Super to ambush enemies and catch them off guard, creating openings for your team. The knockback effect can break enemy formations and give you a tactical advantage.
  • Disengage from fights: You can even use your Super to escape from dangerous situations, while also providing substantial damage to the enemy and knocking them back.
  • Pick off Main damage dealers: With your Super, you should target the enemy’s main damage dealers, and quickly eliminate them.

Star Powers

Skipping Stones

Skipping Stones enhances his normal form’s attack by causing the smaller rocks to split again upon impact, without increasing his range. This significantly boosts his damage potential, especially in close-quarters combat.

Speeding Ticket

Speeding Ticket increases his movement speed while underground during his Super. This allows Moe to cover more ground quickly and surprise enemies with his rapid emergence.

Gadgets

Dodgy Digging

It temporarily increases his Super charge rate by 50%, allowing him to use his Super more frequently. This can be particularly useful in maintaining pressure on the enemy team and controlling key areas of the map.

Rat Race

This gadget makes his alternate form dash forward a short range, destroying obstacles and knocking enemies in his way. This can be used to close the gap between enemies or escape dangerous situations quickly.

Best Game Modes for Moe

Moe is a versatile damage dealer in Brawl Stars, known for his unique dual-form mechanics and high damage potential. His Supers, Moe’s Machine, and Bail Out offer both offensive and defensive capabilities, making him a tough opponent to deal with. Here are Moe’s best game modes:

  • Brawl Ball: While Moe is effective in most modes, he really shines in Brawl Ball. You can easily target the enemy ball carrier, and with his Super, you can go through any obstacles and knock enemies in your way, preventing them from scoring. Moreover, his driller form in Super allows you to deal more damage.
  • Gem Grab: You can pick Moe in Gem Grab too, allowing you to easily collect the Gems, and change the momentum by surprising enemies with your Super. You can even disengage to protect your Gems from enemy Brawlers.
  • Heist: He is very annoying to deal with in Heist, as you can directly target the enemy’s safe with your Super. In this mode, prioritize farming your Super, and then go straight for the enemy’s safe, knocking enemies out of your way and also dealing damage to the safe.
  • Bounty: Moe has a high win rate in this mode, proving his effectiveness. His kit is very useful in Bounty, providing a lot of advantages to your team.
  • Solo and Duo Showdown: He is a good pick in both Solo and Duo Showdown, as he has both high damage and good sustain.

Best Brawler Combination with Moe

Moe is good at controlling the momentum of the battlefield with his primary attack and Super, annoying enemies by knocking them around while also dealing a lot of damage. Ollie synergies well with Moe, with one hypnotizing enemy, while the other knocks them out. Since Moe’s basic attack range is not the best, having a long-range damage dealer like Pearl or Piper in your team can prove more advantageous. Juju is also a strong pair him with, as she can slow down enemies, allowing Moe to use his Super more effectively, or she can take out enemies Moe knocks away.

Best Gears for Moe in Brawl Stars

Damage Gear

The Damage Gear is an excellent choice for Moe because it increases his damage output by 15% when his health falls below 50%. Given Moe’s role as a damage dealer, this gear ensures he remains a threat even when his health is low. This is particularly useful in his alternate form, where he can deal continuous damage with his Giga Drill Break attack.

Shield Gear

The Shield Gear provides Moe with an additional 900 HP shield when he is at full health. This shield regenerates at a rate of 90 health per second after 10 seconds of not taking damage. This gear enhances Moe’s survivability, allowing him to stay in the fight longer and make the most of his high damage output. The extra protection is especially beneficial when Moe uses his Super to dive into enemy lines.
