Here are the reviews for all the UTOTSSF players in FIFA Mobile 20. We have carefully reviewed and analyzed their playstyles to assist you in figuring out how we can get the best out of them in-game.
FIFA Mobile 20 UTOTSSF Reserves
The FIFA mobile 20 Ultimate Team of the Season So Far (UTOTSSF) Reserves features the players who had a stellar footballing season so far. With a roster of 12 cards, the reserves boast some cards who can challenge even the starters in terms of gameplay and stats. While all the reserves being obtainable Free to Play, these are some of the cards you will be having in your lineups for the remainder of the season.
Yann Sommer (GK)
- Skill boost: Diving
- Traits: None
- Requirements: 60 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
One of the cheaper cards from the crop is actually a great card to use. This is a very strong GK that comes at a relatively reasonable price. If this card fits in with your team chemistry, then this card is certainly a good shout. He has excellent stats considering his OVR and his reflex and positioning standout in-game. The only downside of this card is the jumping and strength stats, these are both low which means that good finesse shots and strong power shots will catch you out. Overall, a very good F2P card to use for any purpose.
Alejandro Gomez (CAM)
- Skill boost: Second Striker
- Traits: Long Shot Taker
- Requirements: 60 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This is another great card that can do really anything you want a CAM to do. Some say this is the F2P version of prime Maradona and the stats really speak for themselves. It has high pace and agility stats, movement feels fluid and smooth in-game. This card’s shooting is also very impressive, whether it be a power shot or a finesse shot, Gomez will surely impress. However, the strength and height of this card are low, maybe too low, he may be pushed around by the strong CBs so you should avoid those situations.
Angel Di Maria (RW)

- Traits: Flair, Outside Foot Shot, Long Shot Taker
- Requirements: 60 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Not as good as the TOTSSF version who is one of the best RWs in-game. but nevertheless, a great easily obtainable F2P card. Pace, shooting, agility, and passing are all needed for a good RW and Di Maria has all of these. Strength is a downside but the other stats make up for this well. Overall, this is a great reliable RW that should do its job well.
Karim Benzema (ST)
- Skill boost: Shot Power
- Traits: Playmaker, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 60 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Another card lower-rated than it’s TOTSSF version, but still this is a great alternative if you didn’t manage to get the other version. The skill boost may be a little disappointing for some skill-boost efficient squads, however on the bright side, this will mean that your power shots will get increasingly better. This will be a really good option for any Real Madrid Fans.
Joshua Kimmich (CDM)
- Skill boost: Holding
- Traits: None
- Requirements: 70 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
A very defensive CDM, you could say it is one of the best value CDMs in the game. He will work best on his own deep in your midfield, where he’s defending stats will shine most. The only problem and this is a major issue, is that his work rates do not match stats.
With a high attacking work rate and low defending work rate, this card will often be found in the wrong place many times. If you prefer H2H, having this card will not be a good idea, he will appear where you don’t want him and will disappear when you need him. Overall, this is a very odd card, it is recommended that you try and avoid him.
Dani Carvajal (RB)
- Skillboost: Marking
- Traits: None
- Requirements: 70 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
With Carvajal, you would say that pace is lacking, but on this version it is decent. It has High/High work rates but the stats and the skill boost suggest a more defensive RB. It would work best in VSA while in defense, in the attack, not so much. In H2H, it would be a very dynamic, all-round full-back that can attack and defend well. Overall, this is a good reliable full-back best played in H2H but still works decently in VSA.
Wissam Ben Yedder (ST)
- Skillboost: Long Shots
- Traits: Flair, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 70 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This is a great F2P striker that can run, dribble and shoot. He has Long Shots skill boost, which isn’t normal for a striker, but the stats are still decent. With the high defensive work rate, this card will trackback well, making it a really good choice for H2H. In VSA, this card’s shooting and movement should net you a good amount of goals as well. Although his TOTSSF version has the second striker as the skill boost, his UTOTSSF version is slightly cheaper and may fit in most of your budget squads.
Andrew Robertson (LB)
- Skillboost: Marking
- Traits: Avoids Weaker Foot, Early Crosser, Speed Dribbler
- Requirements: 70 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Another card similar to Dani Carvajal, these 2 would make a great pair. It shares very similar stats with him and they have the same work rates and skill boost. Having both of these as your full-backs would be great for both VSA and H2H. He has better stats than his TOTSSF version, so if you are comfortable with his skill boost, he is perfect for you.
Jadon Sancho (RM)
- Skillboost: Second Striker
- Traits: Finesse Shot, Flair, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 80 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
A great RM card, much more easily accessed than the 101 TOTSSF version, and it is still a great card. It is somewhat similar to POTM Gnabry, but better, this card seems perfectly built for VSA with good shooting and dribbling stats. It has the pace for H2H as well but being right footed would mean that you would have to cross more often than shoot.
Still, this card should perform relatively well in H2H as well. His only downside can be since half the community has his beast of an LM SBC version, there isn’t an option for them to fit both Sanchos in their teams.
Sadio Mane (LW)
- Skill boost: Shooting
- Traits: Tries To Beat Offside Trap, Flair, Speed Dribbler
- Requirements: 80 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
An absolute monster of an LW and it is claimable F2P. If you manage to get him, you should be satisfied with this card’s performance. The card uses the Shooting skill boost, not normal for an LW, but it will soon make your shots incredibly accurate and powerful. This card works well in VSA and H2H due to its strong pace, agility, and shooting.
Its physical stats are also high, which is a big plus since most fast wingers are quite weak in strength. His downside is since people will be claiming the 104 Hazard soon, Mane will soon be replaced by a superior card.
Cristiano Ronaldo (ST)

- Traits: Powerful Driven Free-Kick, Flair, Long-Shot Taker, Speed Dribbler, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 80 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
The best striker that is good in pretty much every aspect. This is perfect for VSA and with the Long-Shot trait and the high shooting stats, this card will score a ton of goals for you in VSA. It is a little weird how this card didn’t manage to get into the starters, but it still means we get a very good F2P striker.
Due to the card being Free to Play obtainable, you will find him in almost everyone’s lineup. Be it VSA or H2H, Ronaldo is running the show just like his real-life version. Go for him as he is worth every bit of your coins.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)
- Skill boost: Holding
- Traits: Early Crosser, Long Passer, Long-Shot Taker
- Requirements: £5 (Varies between country) + 21250 Gems
Overview
A very expensive card and it will cost you real cash. It has great stats and will be really powerful in both attack and defense. He is easily the best non-prime card for his position and overall, a good card but it will cost you real money and a huge stash of gems.
Unless you have the coins needed to buy him off the market, Carvajal is a much better option in his position.
FIFA Mobile 20 UTOTSSF Starters
The FIFA mobile 20 Ultimate Team of the Season So Far (UTOTSSF) Starters features the top twelve players who performed at their very best and had an amazing season so far. These 12 cards are the ultimate players, ie the endgame cards that everyone will want in their teams. With only a handful of starters being free to play obtainable, you can head into the market to grab the others or can use or gems if you have large disposal available.
Jordan Henderson (CM)
- Skill boost: Captain
- Traits: Early Crosser, Long Passer
- Requirements: 100 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This is definitely one of the best Centre Midfielders available in the market. It has great all-round stats and in the picture above, you can see that all average stats are 100+. You could use this card in any way you want whether it be in VSA or H2H, attack, or defense. With high attacking and defensive work rates, he is definitely one of the best F2P cards available in the UTOTSSF squad. Also with people making a themed Liverpool squad, he will combine very well with Icons Gerrard.
Mats Hummels (CB)
- Skill boost: Defending
- Traits: Long Passer, Playmaker, Power Header, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 100 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This is a very scary defender, it has decent pace, great defending, and physical stats; A dangerous CB especially for H2H. It would fit perfectly into a back 3 since it has enough pace and strength to hold back fast wingers. He has a medium defensive work rate and often leaves gaps in defense which proves to be a concern at times. although he makes up for the most with his pace.
The only drawback of this card is the skill boost. It isn’t very popular amongst the community, but overall, the stats show that this could be a very good endgame card.
Jan Oblak (GK)
- Skill boost: Number 1
- Traits: Puncher, Long Thrower (GK)
- Requirements: 100 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Don’t be fooled by this card’s stats, they are incredibly high but the in-game performance is below par. Although it has some very good positioning, Oblak is known to barely save finesse shots or power shots and is too slow to react to situations, unlike other Goalkeepers. This card is way too easy to beat for its high price, it is recommended that you should stay away from this card. This is one of the weaker of the bunch.
Raphael Varane (CB)
- Skill boost: Holding
- Traits: None
- Requirements: 140 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Another great CB, this will require a little more effort to obtain for F2P but it isn’t impossible. The standout feature of this card is the pace, he is very fast. Again, like Hummels, this card will fit perfectly on the edges of your back 3 due to its incredibly high pace. He can track fast strikers very well in-game.
Defending stats are also really good and with the Holding boost, this is a definite endgame card. The card’s heading is lacking, however, so you will need to partner Varane with another CB that can hit accurate power headers. Overall he is worth every gem you have to spend in order to get your hands on him.
Luis Alberto (CM)
- Skill boost: Counter
- Traits: Finesse Shot, Long Passer, Long Shot Taker, Playmaker
- Requirements: 140 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This is another solid attacking CM, a cheaper version of UTOTSSF De Bruyne. It can do everything a CM needs to do and it does it to a significantly high standard. Defensive stats are low which means that attacking will be your best option with this card.
This card also comes with a brand new skill move Counter, Hocus Pocus, it is unpredictable and will catch your opponent out but you will have to time it perfectly. Overall, a great card, some would even say it is better than Prime Zidane.
Kylian Mbappe (ST)
- Skill boost: Second Striker
- Traits: Finesse Shot, Flair, Speed Dribbler, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: £5 (Varies between country) + 77550 Gems (This cost is the total cost of the packs required to buy until you reach the guaranteed pack, depending on your luck, you may get this card at a lower Gem cost)
Overview
Like TAA, this card is obtainable through packs, and it will cost a lot of gems as well as a direct IAP. Judging by the stats, this is a great dynamic ST that has everything an ST needs. Overall, this is more of a direct cash grab from EA, if you are going to spend money on the game, you should go for the higher-rated UTOTSSF starters over this.
Virgil Van Dijk (CB)
- Skill boost: Destroyer
- Traits: Long Passer, Power Header
- Requirements: 180 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This card is a lot like Varane with the high pace and defensive stats, but it is much better. Having the 2 of them as your CBs would form a very dangerous defense. It has the destroyer skill boost, unnatural for a CB but still a great boost. It will cost a good amount of gems but it is definitely one of the best CBs in the game.
Ciro Immobile (ST)
- Skill boost: Acceleration
- Traits: Outside Foot Shoot
- Requirements: 180 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
This card is similar to UTOTSSF Lewandowski, a definite end game card. It comes with the acceleration boost, which is a downside for some players but it does boost pace by a lot. It is P2W unless you are a F2P with a huge amount of gems at your disposal, but that is highly unlikely.
Neymar Jr (LW)
- Skill boost: Finishing
- Traits: Selfish, Flair, Speed Dribbler, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 230 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
Another very good endgame card but sadly it is P2W. It comes with the Finishing boost which should eventually max out your shooting stats. This will be a nightmare to come up against in H2H, at least in VSA you won’t be able to see your defence being ripped apart.
Kevin De Bruyne (CM)
- Skill boost: Long Shots
- Traits: Early Crosser, Long Passer, Long Shot Taker, Playmaker
- Requirements: 230 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
A very dangerous card, it shares some similar stats with Luis Alberto, obtain both of these and you will have lethal attacking power in the middle of the field. Overall, this is one of the best CMs in the game, obviously a definite endgame card. If you have some coins saved up, this can be a lethal addition to your team.
Robert Lewandowski (ST)
- Skill boost: Attacking
- Traits: Finesse Shot, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 300 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
The highest rating of the UTOTSSF squad in FIFA Mobile 20 comes to the goal machine Lewandowski. It comes with the Attacking boost which increases the pace, only making the card even more over-powered than it already is. This will cost you a huge amount of gems, 250000 at least if you have played all skill games.
Honestly, this card will not feel like Lewandowski in-game, it will be much more overpowered than that. Coming up against this card in online play should guarantee a very high scoreline.
Lionel Messi (RW)
- Skill boost: Second Striker
- Traits: Finesse Shot, Long Shot Taker, Speed Dribbler, Playmaker, Outside Foot Shot
- Requirements: 300 UTOTSSF Points
Overview
The best RW available in the game, the stats really speak for themselves. Again, like Lewandowski, this is a heavily P2W card. It has the Second Striker boost, which isn’t normal for an RW but the Attacking boost wouldn’t really have an effect on any stats since they are already high.
The only possible downside of this card is physicality but this should not affect this card’s in-game performance too much. Overall, this is an overpowered card only for the people willing to spend large amounts of gems or cash on this game. F2P players can only dream of this for the time being.
