The tier list will be based on the 7 elements and statuses in the game: Burn, Bleed, Rupture, Sinking, Poise, Tremor, and Charge. They all profit from having the same type of unit in their team and have different ways of working. They all benefit from Weapon Attack Stances, which are Slash, Blunt, and Pierce.

If you are a new Limbus Company player looking for guides and strategies or even team-building, look no further. We got you covered with our beginner’s guide, skills guide, team building guide, and re-roll guide.

How to build the Rupter Team to work

Chapter 8 released Lord of Hongyuan Hong Lu, and with him, there are currently 9 Heishou Pack Identities released across different sinners to help in making a full rupture-based team. If you are looking to build a rupture team, you can just go with the Heishou Rupture team with Hong Lu at its core.

This team is easiest to build and maintain with any rupture unit in the backup to provide passives. But remember, they are locked till next season or until they rerun the IDs banner.

Why is it S-tier:

  • Huge damage when properly stacked.
  • Very strong against enemies with many actions.
  • One of the best boss-killing mechanics.
  • Excellent scaling.
  • Can outperform Bleed in ideal conditions.

How to build the bleed team to work

Chapter 7 released The Manager Don, aka The Manager of La Manchaland Don Quixote, and with her were 4 Bloodfiend. The good thing is that there are Kurokumo Clan members who are better than some Bloodfiend members in stacking bleed and passives.

So you can mix and match Bloodfiend and Kurokumo members with N corp units as backup to achieve the best team for bleed.

Why is it S-tier:

  • Superb damage scaling on multi-hit attacks.
  • Excels in Mirror Dungeon & boss fights.
  • Synergizes extremely well with speed and clash-heavy kits.
  • Massive burst potential.
  • Strongest against high-HP targets.
  • Many top-tier IDs support Bleed naturally.

How to build a sinking team to work

With Chapter 9 and Season 7 dropping, we are seeing a lot of Sinking IDs being released, and from Chapter 6’s Sinking season, with great sinking IDs from Wuthering Heights and WildHunt Heathcliff, to the Knight of Despair Rodion, to the now soon-to-be-released Index Don Quixote, Sinking teams got way up in clearing Mirror Dungeons.

The Chapter 9 Sinking IDs are great to use for the sinking team as well. The Sinking Team is going to be the best to build with sinking ID banners currently running on the game.

Why is it S-Tier:

  • Dominates sanity-based enemies.
  • Excellent control and indirect damage.
  • Very strong in specific encounters.
  • SP control is powerful.
  • Synergizes well with panic mechanics.

Final Thoughts

With the new Chapter 9 and Season 7 and seeing a lot of sinking units being released, the meta tierlist this season in Limbus Company is shifting to Sinking, like Chapter 6, which focused on Heathcliff and released the WildHunt ID of him. Let’s hope they can switch up the elements, or it will be a repeat of season 4.
