Mega Lucario is making its debut finally in Pokémon Go during Ultra Unlock: Raid Day. The mega-evolution version of Lucario has slimmer thighs and longer fur which is yellow. Its paws also grow spikes and become crimson. As it is a Mega Raid, you won’t be able to fight against all by yourself even if you are a high-level player. So in this Pokémon Go guide, I’ll tell you about the best counters you can use against Mega Lucario to defeat it.
Mega Lucario in Pokémon Go
Mega Lucario is a dual-type Fighting and Steel Pokémon with a maximum CP of 4325 at level 50 and is weak towards Fighting, Fire, and Ground-type attacks. If you are a high-level player with the best counters, I’ll still recommend you to go in groups of no less than two to four players into the battle to seal your victory. You should consider taking an even higher number of people if you are a low-level player or don’t have high-level counters.
Mega Lucario Moveset
The best moves from the movepool of Mega Lucario are Counter and Aura Sphere. This is also the best combination of moves you can use in Pokémon Gyms and PvP battles. Other good options that I’ve found to be useful from the movepool of Mega Lucario are Force Palm, Bullet Punch, Close Combat, Flash Cannon, and Blaze Kick amongst many other good options.
