A new season of Clash Royale has now arrived following the monthly tradition that fans eagerly await as Season 53 brings exciting rewards and content for players to enjoy. Based on the newest Archer Evolution card, we also have a new Champion arriving as well. Clash Royale Season 53 Archer Evolution October 2023 Update Overview
New Tower Skins
In this update, two new Tower Skins have been officially confirmed that can be acquired either through the Pass Royale or by purchasing them from the in-game shop. The Tavern Table tower skin is unlocked at Tier 48 of the Gold Tier in Pass Royale, while the Royal Escort tower skin is available for unlocking in the Shop.
The tavern-themed skin features a pleasing design with an exposed wood aesthetic. The other skin bears a resemblance to the soon-to-be-released new champion, and it also boasts an appealing appearance. Both look decent, but the previous season’s skins were comparatively attractive.
New Champion: Little Prince
The leaks had come true with the introduction of the sixth and newest Champion, the Little Prince. This 3-elixir Champion wields a repeating crossbow with an impressive range of 6 tiles, and the firing rate of this weapon increases as long as he remains alive in the arena.
Little Prince also possesses a secret weapon, his Champion Ability called Royal Rescue, which comes at a cost of 3 elixir, which is also the most expensive champion ability till now. When activated, his trusty guard rushes to his aid and forcefully clears out any troops in close proximity.
To acquire this exciting new Champion, you’ll find a dedicated button in the Battle tab. Upon obtaining the Little Prince, you will have a series of tasks at your disposal, primarily involving training battles, which must be completed to fully unlock him.
New Card Evolution: Archers
In Clash Royale, the 9th evolution card arrives in the form of the Archers. This evolution incorporates a two-cycle evolution, which results in notable stat buffs for the 3-elixir card. The Archers gain a 25% increase in Hit Points (HP) and a 30% buff to their attack range.
Their evolution ability, Power Shot, allows them to shoot arrows at greater distances, effectively reaching targets farther away. Additionally, this newfound power allows the Archers to deal more damage, making them even more formidable on the battlefield.
Emotes and Banners
Once again, seven new emotes will be coming. All the new emotes will be based on the Archer Evolution as well as the Little Prince Champion which the players can enjoy. Alongside, there are 40 brand-new banners available. There are 16 in the Banner Box, 16 for sale, 4 in the Season Shop, and 2 for Diamond Pass Royale owners.
Season Shop and Card Boosts
The Season Shop will return with some fantastic deals, which can be obtained by exchanging season tokens. Along with the cards on offer, banners and emotes are also worthwhile investments, as we have spooky cards in Archers, Rascals, and Dark Prince available in the Season Shop for 500 tokens apiece. Wild Shards will also make an appearance in the shop for 6000 tokens.
Card Evolution enthusiasts can find MortarShards in the Season Shop, which can be purchased thrice starting from 5,000 tokens which will add the same value to each purchase. Banner Tokens and Emotes are added too. Four cards have been picked for boost this time around in Archers, Rascals, Princess, and Dark Prince.
Clash Royale November 2023 Balance Changes
Just as we thought there would be no balance changes for this season, the Little Prince Champion card as expected proved to be a lot stronger than anticipated, and we get to see some tweaks.
Skeletons Evolution
Skeletons have been on the weaker side of the current Evolutions roster. This change allows them to multiply faster.
- First Hit Speed: 0.5sec → 0.4sec (+20%)
Bats Evolution
This change allows Evolved Bats to activate their vampiric Hitpoint stealing faster and hopefully gives them a longer (unnatural) lifespan in the Arena!
- First Hit Speed: 0.5sec → 0.2sec (+60%)
Knight Evolution
Another strong evolution got nerfed.
- Bonus Hit Speed: -0.3sec → -0.1sec (-67%)
Royal Recruits Evolution
Again, another strong Evolution that is seeing a lot of play right now, and hence they nerfed it.
- Bonus Damage: 12% → 6% (-50%)
Little Prince
- Royal Rescue Dash Distance: 5 → 4.5 (-10%)
Guardian has been going above and beyond her rescue duty, also becoming effective at taking down Crown Towers due to her long-range dash.
