Genshin Impact, the widely famous online RPG has been one of the famous games in recent times. Unfortunately, due to COVID complications, the company had to delay the latest update of the game, by quite a considerable amount of time. Finally, amidst all the shadowy and unclear rumors about the 2.7 Update, this particular leak might have raised the curtain on when the update is actually rolling out. A Twitter user named Ubatcha1 posted these dates, which states that the 31st of May could be the very auspicious day when the Genshin Impact 2.7 Update arrives, with the introduction of the first banner, including Yelan.
Genshin usually brings two separate banner cycles in each update, with each including a 5-star character and 3 four-star characters, along with new and unique weapons in the weapon banners. The current 2.6 Banners brought a new character, Kamisato Ayato and then reruns of Ayaka and Venti for the 2nd half.
Genshin Impact 2.7 Update release: The end of the month could be a spectacular time
With the air around the 2.7 Update, which has been supposedly cleared, the livestream might be released in a few days. The end of the month will be a massive hay day for fans. According to the leak by credible Genshin Impact leaker UBatcha1, the new character Yelan will arrive on 31st May in the first part of the update. Additionally, Kuki Shinobu’s release would be around the 21st of June, 2022, in the next banner.
The banner will have the following characters:
- Yelan: five-star Hydro bow user
- Xiao: five-star Anemo pole-arm user
- Noelle: four-star Geo claymore user
- Barbara: four-star Hydro catalyst user
- Yanfei: four-star Pyro catalyst user
Yelan would be a strong DPS character, but surprisingly has a unique style affixed to her, as she would be more useful off-field. Players should definitely aim to get her second constellation, as it will immensely boost her Elemental Burst.
The first banner might get low reception from the players
But as seen in the Tweet’s comments, many players are considering not pulling on the banner, due to the disappointing four-star lineup. Most players have multiple constellations already of all the four-star characters.
For players who are indeed looking forward to these characters though, Noelle is a great support as her entire kit is built around her shield that can act as a great defence. Yanfei is a very good choice for players who do not have a pyro DPS and Barbara is one of the first healers that players can obtain for free in the game.
