Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Update is more than 5 weeks away, but several leaks have already surfaced online. Players will look at some of the most important and reliable leaks so far. But people must remember that these are leaks, so take them with a grain of salt until any of the information is officially confirmed by Hoyoverse.
Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Update Leaks: Events
Remember the Labyrinth Warriors event back in the 2.2 Update? It seems Tartaglia hasn’t had enough of Inazuma yet. Version 3.2 Update will feature an event involving the Great Mujina Youkai. Yoimiya alongside Tartaglia will also be at the centre of the story that unfolds during the event.
Tartaglia and Yoimiya are both super energetic and fun-to-be-around characters, so it would be really exciting to see them interact for the first time. Not many details about this event are out yet, but we could speculate it be a combat event.
Of course, every Genshin version update comes with a free 4* item and it rotates between a weapon and a character. Leaks suggest the free 4* character in the Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Update might be Dori. If players failed to pull her in 3.0, they can rest assured, that they will get a free copy of her in the 3.2 Update. Dori could potentially be the reward for the Great Mujina Youkai event, since Xinyan was the reward for the Labyrinth Warriors event in 2.2.
One of the most popular recurring events is also returning in the 3.2 Update. It is no surprise that Liben is loved by all. Every day he asks for some easily obtainable local specialty items and gives precious primogems in return. He also tends to reveal some information about the upcoming nation ahead of its official release. Also, who doesn’t love free primogems!
Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Update Leaks: Banners
When it comes to banners, only one new 5* is confirmed so far. It is none other than the Dendro Archon herself, Lesser Lord Kusanali aka Nahida. More details will be revealed to her later. The 4* Layla is also rumored to be playable.
As for the reruns, several characters are rumored. Tartaglia and Yoimiya are kind of obvious since they will be featured in the main event of 3.2. Yae Miko is also rumored to be rerun, but we cannot confirm it. As we can see from the leaker’s tweet, the Albedo rerun happened earlier than predicted, meanwhile, there is no information on a Eula rerun. Although, since the predicted characters are the ones who got their reruns, there is some credibility in these leaks. However, there is no way to confirm the order of reruns, until HoYoverse officially announces it.
Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali aka Nahida
The number one attraction of the 3.2 Update is undoubtedly Dendro Archon. Luckily, players know some things about her kit and we can speculate the rest. She will be a catalyst user and will be the first Archon to do so.
It is well known that the Traveller’s kit is a budget version of the Archon’s kit. Anemo Traveller had minor grouping capabilities, meanwhile Venti could summon a massive vortex. Geo Traveller could summon small “pillars” meanwhile Zhongli could summon massive pillars alongside his beefy shield.
Electro Traveller, albeit not as good as Raiden Shogun, had some form of battery abilities. All the previous versions of the Traveller were blown out of the water by the Archons, and even by some pre-existing 4* characters. Dendro is the first time the Traveller is actually good and usable in several team comps.
The reason Dendro Traveller is so good is because of the burst. It summons a lotus lamp which covers a pretty decent area and constantly applies dendro to anyone inside it. This creates the perfect situation for any character who can take advantage of the dendro application. If Dendro Traveller is so good, we can only imagine how amazing the Dendro Archon will turn out to be.
As we can see from the leaks, Nahida will have an ability, which might be the skill or the burst, that will apply Dendro to the enemies, surrounding the active character. This will work in a similar fashion to Barbara’s skill that applies hydro to nearby enemies.
One character who can potentially synergize the best with Nahida is Nilou. She will be released in the 3.1 Update. Nilou has a passive that makes any blooms triggered by her, dealing 300% of the damage of a regular bloom seed, and it will explode after only 0.6 s unlike 6 s of the regular bloom seeds. However, this passive is only activated when the team consists of only hydro and dendro characters, which makes Nilou’s team-building rather restrictive.
Nahida does not suffer from any of this. She can be slotted into any team that can utilize the consistent Dendro application. She would require an Aggravate team with Keqing/Fischl/Yae or a regular bloom team with Tartaglia/Ayato. Her team-building possibilities can be further explored, once she’s officially released.
Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Update Leaks: Bosses
HoYoverse is consistently releasing a new world boss every patch. Leaks have suggested that the 3.2 Update will welcome the newest member in the Hypostasis family, which is the Dendro Hypostasis.
Nahida and other future dendro characters like Al-Haitham will probably use materials dropped by this world boss. It is not uncommon for HoYoverse to introduce a new boss alongside a new character that uses its materials for ascension, and the release of the Dendro Hypostasis comes as no surprise to anyone.
Other characters
Some new characters will make their debut in the story. They are Kaveh and Layla. Out of these two, only Layla is expected to become playable, and might even get released alongside Nahida as the featured 4* character. Sadly, we have no information about her kit at the moment.
The description of Layla implies she’s going to be a nerd just like Sucrose, but we have no reference to what she looks like. As for Kaveh, he is a popular architect and Al-Haitham’s temporary roommate. Both Layla and Kaveh are expected to show up in the story during the 3.2 Update.
