Minecraft player rebuilds Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Castle in the game

The Switch’s extremely popular title makes it to the overworld!

We have recently seen a lot of amazing and breathtaking builds in Minecraft. And now, it’s time for Hyrule Castle from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to be recreated in the blocky vibrant world of Minecraft. A long-time player has managed to recreate Breath of the Wild’s final dungeon after a three-year-long effort.

The YouTube user, ZainnCraft, posted the video of his completed build with a tour of the Castle’s tall spires, sheer cliffs, dark and grim-looking interior, underground tunnels, and more (brought together of course, by some fitting background music). They roam around the castle, coast across its waterways in their boat, and explore all the dark and dingy locations around.

Hyrule Castle is a true display of hard work and dedication from the fan

The video, which spans for close to seven minutes, showcases just glimpses through. Looking at the exterior, it’s obvious that there’s so much more to be seen here. Players who want to explore the castle for themselves can get a download copy of the world from Planet Minecraft.

According to the builder, the use of the Conquest Texture pack is recommended so the textures seem more in line with the aesthetics of Breath of the Wild’s visuals. It is also mentioned that 85% of the construction occurred without commands or world edits owing to the player being on a console for most of the build.

Time and again, Minecraft users have made use of the creative liberty Minecraft affords to them, and just like the Hyrule Castle, we’ve seen a bunch of other amazing builds. These include a whole urban Axolotls represented as Pokemon, One Piece’s Onigashima, Doctor Who’s Planet Gallifrey, the entire Milky Way galaxy, Creepers celebrating the festival of Christmas with Santa Caps and beards, several recreations from Mario’s universe, Bloodborne’s dark and gaunt Yharnam and these are just a few.
