With the new release of Zhuxin in the Original Server of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, a new set of hero balance changes, and battlefield changes have come out in the Advanced Server. Let us break down the Patch 1.8.94 Update for Mobile Legends in detail.
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.94 Update: Hero Adjustments
Revamped Phoveus (Buffed)
Although Phoveus is more fun to play and easier to control after the revamp, devs have made the following adjustments to address some current issues:
- His skills can now target heroes who frequently blink, dash, or are displaced.
- Developers have optimized his Passive to make his skills more intuitive.
- They have adjusted Phoveus’s stats, allowing him to lane more comfortably in the early and mid-game while still possessing enough damage to threaten squishy heroes in the late game.
Passive (↑)
Reworked: Phoveus’s next Basic Attack allows him to charge at the target, knocking them back, dealing extra Magic Damage equal to 6% of the target’s Max HP, and gaining a Shield equal to 6% of his Max HP. Whenever an enemy hero blinks, dashes, or is displaced near Phoveus, the cooldown of Demonic Force will be reduced by 5s and the cooldown of his other skills will be reduced by 0.5s.
Skill 1 (~)
- Cooldown: 6-4s >> 5-3s
- Removed Effect: Reduce cooldown by 40% after Skill 1 hits the enemy.
Skill 2 (↑)
Optimized: Dark Wave cannot be interrupted by control effects.
Ultimate (↑)
- Damage: 300-600 +150% Extra Physical Attack >> 300-500 +80% of Total Physical Attack
- HP Regen: 8% of Lost HP >> 200 +6% of Lost HP
Suyou (Adjusted)
Devs have enhanced Suyou’s combat ability in his Mortal form and weakened his combat ability in his Immortal form to allow for more flexibility in using different skills in different situations.
Attributes (↓)
Movement Speed: 240 >> 225
Skill 1 (~)
- Damage by Tap-casting: 300-380 +120% Extra Physical Attack >> 375-475 +150% Extra Physical Attack
- Devs have reduced the stun range by 25% when Hold-casting and increased the Hold time.
Skill 2 (~)
- Base Damage by Tap-casting: 180-260 +200% Extra Physical Attack >> 144-208 +120% Extra Physical Attack, if only one non-Minion enemy is hit, damage will be increased to 3 times.
- Removed glide backward when Tap-casting.
Skill 3 (~)
- They have added gliding backward when Tap-casting.
- They have increased the Hold time.
Nolan (Adjusted)
Devs want Nolan to be able to perform multiple skill combos in team fights while reducing his excessive mobility so that he is not difficult to counter in certain pursuit or escape situations.
Skill 1&2 (↓)
Cooldown: 2-1s >> 2.5-2s
Ultimate (↑)
Cooldown: 24-18s >> 18-12s
Roger (Nerfed)
Currently, Roger has damage that rivals the other Marksmen in the Gold Lane, while also having strong mobility. Devs want to reduce their damage while maintaining their mobility.
Passive (↓)
Bonus Damage: 5% >> 4%
Harith (Nerfed)
Harith is still oppressively powerful when laning in the Gold Lane.
Skill 1 (↓)
- Base Damage: 224-344 >> 184-344
- Explosion Damage: 560-860 >> 460-860
Ultimate (↓)
- Initial Slow: 70% >> 50%
- Continuous Slow: 35% >>15%
Mobile Legends Patch 1.8.94 Update: Battlefield and System Adjustments
Battlefield Effect Test
In this patch, devs have made several changes to Battlefield Effects. They will be testing the impact of these Battlefield Effects on matches shortly, and hope to provide you with some unique match experiences.
Please note that the Battlefield Effect Test only applies to Ranked matches at Master rank and above. When entering a match, the system will inform you of the Battlefield Effects in effect for that match.
Battlefield Effect – Eternal Eye
- Devs have greatly reduced the respawn time of the Cyclone Eye at Jungle Area
- 45s >> 5s
Battlefield Effect – Fortified
- New Effect: All Turrets will now have the Energy Shield for 12 minutes.
- Removed Effect: Hardened Plate of the Inner Turrets. (If the Outer Turret is destroyed within the first 8 minutes, the corresponding Inner Turret will gain an extra 50% Damage Reduction.)
- Removed Effect: Holy Defense of the Base Turrets (If the Inner Turret is destroyed within the first 12 minutes, the corresponding Base Turret will deal damage equal to 80% of their Max HP to the next wave of enemy minions that enters its range.)
Battlefield Effect – Split Push
After the Lord is taken and summoned, it will appear in the Gold, Mid, and Exp lanes and push at the same time with reduced HP and damage.
