After a couple of years-long wait, the hit MOBA title Pokémon UNITE will see an official launch for players in China. The global version of the game, which was announced in August 2021, saw a release in the same year on September 22nd.

After the global release, the Chinese version of Pokémon UNITE was anticipated to be soon. However, in December 2022 when China approved Pokémon UNITE alongside 83 other games, it was also confirmed that the domestic server was already in development. However, it was not until last year in October 2023 that we got the first official move where pre-registrations were opened.
Officially licensed by Pokémon and developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studios, the Pokémon Unite Chinese Server will serve as the localized version tailored specifically for China, following the necessary regulations. Although we might not see many major gameplay changes, we can expect a few differences or additions of new features in comparison with the global version.
As mentioned earlier, the pre-registrations are open for the game, which players from China can access through the official website for Android and the App Store for iOS before the game gets released. If you do so, there are special offers for players who pre-register for the game before its official launch, with the details given below.

For now, the month of release is given, although the date hasn’t been mentioned. However, according to the App Store listing, the Pokémon UNITE China launch is expected to be on November 30, 2024. For now, keep an eye on official confirmation.
