Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Phase 1 banner set will go live after the server maintenance on the 24th of April, 2024, and will last till the 14th of May, 2024 at 17:59 server time. The Version 4.6 Phase 1 banners will feature one new 5* character and one new 5* weapon.
Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Phase 1 First character banner: The Hearth’s Ashen Shadow
This banner features the debut of the much anticipated Fatui Harbinger, “Dire Balemoon” Arlecchino (pyro/polearm) aka The Knave.
Arlecchino will be accompanied by the 4* characters “Yearning for Unseen Depths” Freminet (cryo/claymore), “Elegance in the Shadows” Lynette (anemo/sword), and “Exquisite Delicacy” Xiangling (pyro/polearm), who will receive a huge drop-rate boost. All of these 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.
Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Phase 1 Second Character banners: Conjuring Chiaroscuro
This banner features the first rerun of “Spectacle of Phantasmagoria” Lyney (pyro/bow) since his release back in Version 4.6.
Lyney will be accompanied by the 4* characters “Yearning for Unseen Depths” Freminet (cryo/claymore), “Elegance in the Shadows” Lynette (anemo/sword), and “Exquisite Delicacy” Xiangling (pyro/polearm), who will receive a huge drop-rate boost. All of these 4* characters are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.
Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Phase 1 Weapon banner: Epitome Invocation
This banner introduces the new 5* weapon Crimson Moon’s Semblance (polearm) which is the signature weapon for Arlecchino. This banner also features the rerun of The First Great Magic (bow), which is the signature best-in-slot weapon for Lyney. This banner also features the event-exclusive 4-star weapon The Dockhand’s Assistant (sword), Portable Power Saw (claymore), as well as the 4-star weapons Dragon’s Bane (polearm), Eye of Perception (catalyst), and Favonius Warbow (bow), all of them will receive a huge drop-rate boost.
Among these 4* weapons, Dragon’s Bane (polearm), Eye of Perception (catalyst), and Favonius Warbow (bow) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.
Why you should go for Arlecchino or Lyney in Genshin Impact Version 4.6
The choice between Arlecchino and Lyney is purely personal. Arlecchino has been a very hyped-up character since as early as 1 year ago when the Winter Night’s Lazzo promotional video dropped on YouTube. She is a prominent member of the Archon Quest Fontaine Chapter’s cast.
Many players have been looking forward to her release as a playable character. As a Fatui Harbinger, she is more powerful than Tartaglia, the first-ever playable Fatui Harbinger, according to the in-game lore, and it is likely to be reflected in the gameplay as well. Lyney is a very powerful Pyro DPS who excels in Mono-Pyro teams.
Among the 4* characters, Xiangling is the only one to look out for. As for the 5* weapons, it is worth going for the Crimson Moon’s Semblance for Arlecchino if you are a whale. This weapon is also good for Xiao and Rosaria, although they are not able to take advantage of the passive effect.
The First Great Magic is an amazing weapon not just for Lyney but also for other charged attack DPS characters like Ganyu and Tighnari. Among the 4* weapons, Dragon’s Bane is great for EM build Raiden Shogun, while the Favonius Warbow is a very reliable choice for off-field support bow characters like Yelan.
