Maradona, Charlton, and Beckenbauer have returned to FC Mobile as the new Icons

Diego Maradona recently made a remarkable comeback to EA Sports FC 25 and FC Mobile, along with the Team of the Year (TOTY) event. The Argentine World Champion attacker made his comeback to the game after a long wait of almost seven years from FIFA Mobile 18 due to a legal dispute over image rights.

Sir Bobby Charlton, on the other hand, made his debut on FC Mobile for the first time this season. Arriving as a part of the CODE: NEON event, the English attacking midfielder played a significant role in the 1966 World Cup for his nation, besides his performances for his boyhood club, Manchester United.

According to ASY FUT on X (Formerly Twitter), Franz Beckenbauer is also scheduled to make a return in the ongoing Pitch Beats event after a long hiatus, as well, having last made an appearance in FIFA Mobile 17. The German World Champion defender has been missing since, due to subsequent removal from the game over a suspension from the FIFA Ethics Committee.

Eight new Heroes are making their way to FC Mobile as per leaks

As per Madridistaa on X (Formerly Twitter), EA Sports FC 26 and FC Mobile 26 could be introducing a total of 8 new Heroes to the game, with them already being available in FC Online, the online component of EA Sports FC 25. Let’s take a look at the new Heroes coming to the new season of FC Mobile:

  • Jan Koller: The tall and physical Czech forward had always been a menace in the box, whether it’s for his National Team or Dortmund, where he won the Bundesliga as well in 2002.
  • Mario Mandžukić: The Croat forward was known for mobility and physical strength, as he led his nation to an unforgettable 2014 World Cup Final, besides exploits at Bayern Munich and Juventus.
  • Cesc Fàbregas: The Spanish maestro was the heart of his team’s midfield, whether it was for Arsenal, Barcelona, or later at Chelsea, and his visionary passes could find even the farthest corners.
  • Marouane Fellaini: A versatile ever-present in the midfield, the tall Belgian was a proper streets-won’t-forget player, known for his stints at Everton and Manchester United.
  • Michael Carrick: One of the underappreciated stalwarts of Sir Alex’s great Manchester United team, where he spent 12 seasons winning a mammoth 5 Premier League titles.
  • Andrea Barzagli: Often overlooked given Italy’s depth at defensive options, the tall and physical center back was often a linchpin in Juventus‘ backline, where he won 8 Serie A titles in his 9 seasons.
  • Gilberto Silva: A part of Arsenal‘s Invincibles squad in 2004, the Brazilian midfielder was instrumental for both his club and country’s success, winning the 2002 World Cup with his nation.
  • Esteban Cambiasso: The Argentine midfielder was known for his time at Inter Milan, where he spent 10 seasons winning 5 Serie A Titles and the coveted UEFA Champions League back in 2010.

Additionally, Gervinho, Seydou Doumbia, and Víctor Ibarbo from FIFA 15 have already made their way into EA Sports FC 25 with the FUT Birthday event as new Heroes. The fan-favorite pacey AS Roma trio is yet to make an appearance in FC Mobile and could well join the above list as the new Heroes to arrive next season.
