Introducing Jude Bellingham, the game’s latest cover star

Ahead of the next season, EA has announced that Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid and England National Team‘s jewel midfielder will become the cover athlete for EA Sports FC Mobile. Bellingham will be replacing his club team mate Vinícius who had been the game’s face for the previous seasons.

Bellingham has already made a name for himself as the world’s game after having a stellar season with Real Madrid and is already a contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or. Previously, to commemorate the occasion of Bellingham being the new face of FC Mobile, EA had rewarded everyone with a free 95 OVR CAM Moments Player Item as well.

After the latest 24/25 season update, Jude Bellingham will be the game’s face and icon every time you upload the app. Already becoming a fan-favorite, it is yet to be seen how Belligol fairs as the new cover of FC Mobile.

Carry over your team to the new Season without the fear of a Reset

No Season Reset

As revealed previously, EA has once again assured that players can hence continue building their squads with their favorite players without having the fear of an impending reset. Yes, there will be no season reset this year, allowing you to continue building on your current team’s progress and achievements. This is probably the first time in the history of FC Mobile, that we will be moving to a new season without the annual reset.

Therefore with the new season update, you will continue to retain your current team, all the players from your inventory, along with all of your in-game resources! Yes, you will have all of your Coins, Gems, FC Points, Training Transfer Points, and Universal Rank Players moving forward to FC Mobile 25.

Player OVRs going above 103

Besides the season reset not happening, there is another significant piece of news as well. Player OVRs will go above up to 103, yes very soon, starting with the Anniversary event arriving on Tuesday not Thursday reset.

Therefore with upcoming events, we can expect player OVRs to go beyond 103 OVR, and very soon the current 98-99 OVR players will become redundant as players with a higher overall will have better stats and a higher training level ceiling. This also could be a bane as higher-rated players will only enlarge the gulf more between pay-to-play and free-to-play players.

Arrival of Pre-Ranked Player Items

With the new FC Mobile 24/25 season update, Pre-Ranked Players are making a return! Yes, similar to season’s past you can now get Player Items with Ranks and Levels already equipped, meaning you don’t need to invest your inventory on them to level them up. Pre-Ranked Player Items will be arriving in the Exchanges section and as Event Rewards.

Changing Username

With the new 24/25 season update, FC Mobile introduces a brand new game mode, Club Challenge! The mode will be available as a permanent game mode, starting from September 24. In FC Mobile 24, there was a La Liga Challenge mode for a short while where you could play H2H matches for Gems but the new Club Challenge mode takes it to the next level.

Club Challenge will be a PvP-exclusive mode where you’ll compete against other players in H2H matches. Every match in the Club Challenge brings skills to the forefront, demanding top performances from you and your squad to advance! You can choose from all twenty authentic Premier League and LALIGA clubs to participate in the challenge mode.

Introducing the brand new Football Center, a brand new permanent game mode that promises new and regular content that ties in with real-world football matches! The new Football Center will bring regular matches and features including Key Matches, Showdown Exchanges, Team of the Week, Player of the Month, and more.

The first tab, What’s New as its name suggests showcases the new standout moments happening in the world of football. Celebrate the special moments with new Player rewards ranging from Moments, End of Era, and more.

The weekly recurring event from the season’s past is making a return to the new season of FC Mobile. Players who outshine others the previous weekend in league football take center stage in TOTW or Team of the Week!

Challenge and beat the weekly TOTW squad using your main lineup to get Football Centre Points. Get the TOTW Players in the TOTW Gallery using your Football Centre Points that you have earned by completing the TOTW Challenges and Key Matches in the previous tab. This also signifies a new change in the event mechanic as a player will only receive one TOTW card throughout the entire Season. Therefore you won’t be getting any duplicate TOTW players and if you have already claimed a Player from the Gallery, he will then be replaced with a generic reward.

Player of the Month (POTM)

Along with Team of the Week, Player of the Month or POTM makes a return as well! Celebrate Players who had a fantastic month from the top 5 domestic leagues including the Premier League, LALIGA, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1. Complete POTM Exchanges to get the POTM Player!

Other Gameplay Improvements and Bug Fixes

With this update, EA is also bringing massive gameplay updates and improvements. The fans have been demanding some significant gameplay changes and their voices have not gone unheard. With the latest FC Mobile 24/25 season update, EA is introducing a long list of bringing gameplay enhancements:

Gameplay Enhancements

  • AI Difficulty Divergence: Now you will notice distinct differences in AI difficulty levels, with PvE AI-based Matches now being significantly difficult on Professional, World Class, and especially Legendary settings.
  • Manager Mode Passing: Ground through Pass reliability and accuracy have been improved, ensuring your strategic passing plays come off more smoothly.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

  • Featured Crests in Locker Room: New Featured Crests section has been added to the Home Team selection in the Locker Room. This new addition will now allow you to quickly find and select your main team by showcasing top team crests.
  • Improved Usability in Player Inventory: The interface will now remain on the recently selected player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
  • Filtering Capability Added: The most sought-after addition! Filter conditions have now been introduced in Player Training, Exchanges, and Transfer Market that will help you easily spot tradeable and untradeable players while utilizing them. Personally, for me, this is easily the best change in this update!

Bug Fixes

  • Player Inventory Navigation: The interface will now remain on the recently tapped player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
  • Campaign Chapter Navigation: Fixed an issue where you will end up in the first chapter of an event when moving between event chapters. Now you can move between campaign chapters without being redirected to the first chapter, for smoother progression.
  • Enhanced Stability: Fixed some bugs that were interrupting gameplay on both Android and iOS devices.

That’s all for the FC Mobile 24/25 season and Anniversary update! The devs at EA will continue to look forward to player feedback to further balance and improve gameplay.
