I did see this coming but not such a big delay. In one more announcement, Ubisoft has confirmed that their third-person shooter title The Division Resurgence, which was supposed to release this month, will be getting delayed, once again, and will have December 2024 as the new launch timeline.

I have honestly lost count of how many delays the developers have put the game through ever since the game’s announcement in 2021. Not only they were pretty slow in getting the game’s first beta with over a year of wait, but despite multiple tests, the game’s launch is in question still after nearly three years of being in development.
The excitement was high when they released a launch roadmap, indicating a Fall 2023 launch with two phases of testing. However, in their announcement in September last year, they announced a regional beta while also confirming that the release date was pushed to Early 2024, with the original release date of Fall 2023 being another test instead which was held for the USA, Brazil, and Australia.

So now, if you ask me, can I confirm the exact launch date of the game? Sadly, no. Previously depending on the store page data we did see it aiming for March 2024, but now it is showing December 2024. A wait for another year, yes. Frustrating, isn’t it?
Well, until then, we might see a couple of tests being carried out until launch, but for now, the game is open for pre-registration, where interested players can follow up on the game from the Google Play Store and App Store for Android and iOS respectively. Keep an eye on the official website for updates.
