The 2024 Major League Soccer or MLS season has started with a bang in the United States. Celebrating the new season, EA Sports for the first time, introduces the MLS Kickoff event in FC Mobile! Amidst the ongoing Heroes event, players can now get a firsthand taste of American Soccer with the new MLS Kickoff event in FC Mobile 24!
The MLS season is here in FC Mobile! Battle through the Eastern and Western Conferences as you complete playoff matches on the road to the MLS Cup! Earn players from all the 29 MLS teams as you play Matches and Skill Games. Discover the history of the MLS, relive through different eras, and earn the Icons and Heroes that helped define it!
FC Mobile 24 MLS Kickoff Event Description
Event Duration: March 21st – April 21st (31 Days)

FC Mobile 24 MLS Kickoff Event Flow
MLS
In the MLS Tab, you will log in each day and complete a series of two Skill Games and two Matches to earn MLS Tokens and MLS Pass Points every day. There are three Ads that you can watch daily to get additional MLS Tokens. Each day you will log in and come to the MLS Tab to play a set of Skill Games and Matches to receive MLS Tokens.
You can use the MLS Tokens in the path of Milestone Rewards at the right-hand side of the tab. You are going to use the MLS Tokens to open an MLS Base Pack with 8x MLS Tokens required to open an MLS Base Pack. Depending on how many MLS Tokens you collect from the event, you will progress your way towards the Milestone Path. Remember, the Milestone takes into account, the Tokens that you collect every day and not the ones that you spend on the Path of Rewards!
There are MLS Kickoff event players in the Milestone Reward Path including a Universal Rank Player – Mascherano up for grabs! Complete daily matches to unlock daily rewards and gain progression for milestones. You can only play each match and skill game once a day. Collect MLS Tokens to make progress on the Milestone and unlock rewards. Consuming MLS Tokens will not affect the Milestone progress!
MLS Playoffs
In the MLS Playoffs Tab, you will be replaying the brackets from last year’s MLS Cup. You will be replaying the PvE AI Matches on particular scenarios and working your way into winning the MLS Cup. You can’t play against all the teams from the Playoffs and are hence limited to a total of 6 matches.
The rewards that you can get just from playing these matches are just 1000 Coins and pretty lackluster. Replay the previous year’s MLS Playoffs. The MLS Cup refreshes every week. Once you are done playing the matches, you can earn the Milestone Rewards from the Playoffs Challenge at the right-hand side of the tab.
The Rewards range from MLS Ultra Pack, Gems, and Universal Rank Players – Dudek and Mascherano. Just skip the other two rewards as they are not worth it and Mascherano alone is worth more than anything else in the game right now. Both the Playoffs and the milestone resets weekly while the Main MLS Tab resets daily.
Era
The final tab, again a Weekly Reset is the MLS Era Tab. This is a little different from what we have seen in past events. You need to play a series of PvE AI Matches every week to earn Icons who have played in the MLS in seasons past. Relive the iconic moments of MLS.
Complete matches and claim rewards! The Icons go better as the weeks go along as you need to play more matches but other than that the rewards are about the same. The Icons that you earn from this tab needless to say are all untradeable.
The Rewards that you get from the matches is again just 1000 Coins which is only worth it to get to the player at the end. Unless you are really a fan of any of the Icons or you want them really for your squad, the players are just basically Exchange fodders.
MLS Pass
Similar to all the mini-events, there’s an event-specific Pass for MLS Kickoff as well. You need to complete the Quests to gain the MLS Pass Points and progress through the MLS Pass. There are two sides to the Pass with of course the Paid Pass being more lucrative than the Free one.
There are also items and in-game resources for the event present in the MLS Pass. Gain progress through the MLS Pass and earn MLS Kickoff Players, Universal Rank Players, FC Points, Gems, Pass Points, Coins, and the MLS Kickoff special player 95 OVR CB Alessandro Nesta!
FC Mobile 24 MLS Kickoff Event Currencies
MLS Tokens
- Earn them by completing the Skill Games and Matches and by watching Ads from the MLS tab
- Spend them on the MLS Base Pack and/or MLS Daily Upgrade Exchange in the Exchanges tab
MLS Pass Points
- Earn them by completing the Skill Games and Matches from the MLS Tab and by playing Quests
- Spend them to progress through the MLS Pass
Running the Math for F2P Players
As per our calculations, the following sums up the chances for F2P Players.

FC Mobile 24 MLS Kickoff Event Guide
MLS Kickoff has a little amount of grind, with daily skill games and matches to play in FC Mobile 24. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.

From the Calculations above you can see that should you play the event throughout, you are gonna easily end with at least 341 MLS Tokens. With that, you can utilize spending the above on the MLS Base Pack that hands out random 75-97 OVR Players for 8x MLS Tokens each.
Therefore you can have at least 42 Pulls in the MLS Base Pack. The Milestone Rewards as you can see from the table above require you only to accumulate 210 MLS Tokens. Therefore midway through the event, you will easily get all the MLS Milestone rewards. The rest of the days you will be opening those MLS Base Packs. Everyone will earn the same Milestone Rewards, with the only difference being in the pack luck in the MLS Basse Packs.
You can get a minimum of 42 Pulls in the MLS Base Pack and receive all the MLS Milestone Rewards by just playing through the event
MLS Playoffs
From the Weekly MLS Playoffs Tab, just play out the 6x PvE AI Matches every week. Given your squad, you should be able to complete them by just auto-playing. The Playoffs Challenge rewards are weekly as well. Just remember to complete your matches in Era Tab and open at least 5x MLS Base Packs each week!
As for the weekly Playoffs Challenge rewards, it’s again the same advice, just stick to the Universal Rank Player – Mascherano. You don’t want an untradeable 92 OVR and neither you need a tradeable 90 OVR as they are available for cheap in the market. Besides, why bother getting into the pack luck crap when there is a priceless alternative of Universal Rank Player available for grabs!
FC Mobile 24 MLS Kickoff Event Players
That’s it the MLS Kickoff Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Basically, just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
This event is again not anything different from the past events as it’s just a rebrand of the events that EA keeps recycling in the game. There are no choices and variations, just log in, play some matches, and test your pack luck! It’s frustrating as it’s the same kind of stuff that we have been seeing for quite a while in FC Mobile. Again an event that lacks proper depth and variety! It’s just frustrating, 31 days of no depth, nothing, just lots and lots of boring AI Matches with very little rewards.
