Minecraft player creates a 3D rendition of Super Mario Bros in the game

Saving Princess Peach in the blocky world!

Yet another build has arrived in the forums today, and this time around we happen to have a video game recreation. That’s right. After someone recreated Valorant inside Minecraft (and conveniently recorded the whole process so we could marvel at it), we now have Super Mario Bros, inside of a game. Do we really need more examples of Minecraft being as close to limitless as any title can get?

Super Mario Bros build in Minecraft was completed in five days

Making use of in-game commands and texture packs, Reddit user and YouTuber Clouser-LightStar managed to create the whole game, without mods. That’s right, using a completely Vanilla build. The icing on top of the cake? It took him only 5 days to complete such an intricate build which involved him rebuilding everything down to the maps by hand.

And this isn’t the creator’s first rodeo either as they’ve worked on some other impressive builds too, one of them being the Greenhill zone from Sonic (once again, the recreation of a game in Minecraft). Their YouTube video goes in-depth into the process and is a must-watch. Although hopefully, the ever-so uncompromising Nintendo doesn’t mind.

Just coming to a recap of the awesome builds we’ve seen so far though, we have extremely majestic Pyramids, a recreation of Riot Games’ tactical shooter, Valorant, an ice track spanning across dimensions, an abandoned city, a shiny and luxurious urban city, Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule Castle, Axolotls represented as Pokemon, One Piece’s Onigashima, Doctor Who’s Planet Gallifrey, the entire Milky Way galaxy, Creepers celebrating the festival of Christmas with Santa Caps and beards, several recreations from Mario’s universe and Bloodborne’s dark and gaunt Yharnam to mention some examples.
