Pokémon Unite Cramorant Gameplay Tips
Our Pokémon Unite Cramorant guide includes the perfect game plan for the early and late game during the Unite battles.
Early Game
In the early game, your main goal as Cramorant is to play aggressively and steal as many of the opposing teams wild Pokémon as possible. When the game starts the best play is to get one of the starting Aipoms to level up, then run straight to the opposing team’s side of the lane. If/when the opposing team comes to contest the wild Pokémon, then wait till their wild Pokémon is within Whirlpools kill range and use it, as Whirlpool is a multi-hit move it should be able to get the last hit on the wild Pokémon, giving Cramorant XP.

During the early game, your partner in lane is usually a defender, so make sure to stay behind the defender to protect Cramorant, while dealing as much damage as possible.
By the time Drednaw spawns, Cramorant should be around level 6-7 and have both abilities ready. Because Cramorant has great crowd control Cramorant should try to rotate to the bottom lane for Drednaw before it spawns.
Late Game
By the late game you should have a level lead from making aggressive early-game plays. You should try to use this level led to carry the rest of your team ahead. Like with all other characters, securing Zapdos with your team is a necessity.

Once Zapdos spawns, Cramorant should attempt to position behind the teammates and, use their UNITE move. This will deal massive amounts of burst damage and should win the teamfight.
Positioning of Cramorant
Because Cramorant is an attacker, Cramorant is primarily played in the top lane with an a defender. In teamfights, make sure to stay behind the rest of your team. As an attacker the goal is to deal as much damage as possible while minimizing the amount done to the attacker.

Pokémon Unite Cramorant: Tips and tricks
This guide will also discuss some tips and tricks for playing Cramorant in Pokémon Unite.
- Cramorant has one of the best UNITE moves in the game if used correctly. When using the UNITE move, make sure to position it in a spot where the enemy is within your range but cannot damage you, it is especially helpful if teammates are nearby to tank damage for Cramorant.
- When using dive/surf, make sure to single out enemies – like an assassin
- Always use surf before using hurricane, that way the surf will push the enemy back and forth into the hurricane, which will nearly always guarantee the hurricane to hit the opponent, throwing them into the air and doing large amounts of damage
- Whirlpool can be used as both an offensive and defensive tool. It can be used in the early game to steal opposing wild Pokémon, because the move hits multiple times there is a high chance that the Whirlpool will get the last hit on the opposing Pokémon, thus stealing the XP. Whirlpool can also be used defensively to stop the opposing Pokémon from getting a goal, if the opposing Pokémon does not have score shield then their scoring will be interrupted by every time whirlpool hits, meaning they will not be able to score large goals easily.
- Save the Unite Move for Zapdos. This is an easily overlooked aspect of the game that can change the entire outcome of the game, by saving your Unite Move for Zapdos, it ensures that they can secure the objective and win the game. Try to move around the opposing team during the Zapdos fight and use the combo of your abilities and your UNITE move to wipe out the enemy team.
- One must make sure to check the map before Zapdos spawns. They must look around in the bushes surrounding Zapdos to ensure there are no sneaky enemies waiting to steal it.
